I am so happy for Adam. He is getting so much praise for his role in Glee. I have been reading the comments on all his article and they are very positive. In fact, the lone trolls are so out of place that they are laughable. The trolls are having a hard time because they are being asked to go back to the lonely rooms or caves where they usually dwell.
Adam was ... excellent, perfect, outstanding, superb, out of this world good in his Glee debut. What I really love about Adam, is that with all the accolades he took the time to thank everyone for the love he is currently getting. He is so sweet.
This moment and all the excitement are great. I am just going to savor it and appreciate it and not worry about next. Adam is living his dream. He is a long way from Mt. Carmel high school. He knows it. I am so damn happy for him.

Susie and I were discussing these tweets that say, "I didn't used to like Adam Lambert but now...." We find it strange. His performance was one of the most over the top he has ever done. Why would people who disliked him previously, suddenly like him after that?! Is it because they had preconceived ideas about him before & never really listened to give him a chance? Or maybe due to the changing picture of LBGT rights, these people have evolved in their thinking and just don't realize it? I think it is partly because, brilliantly, Kurt is depicted as being momentarily petty, judgmental, and jealous when he is dismissive of Starchild and what he has to offer. Once all the girls set Kurt straight on the matter (Naya, Dani, and Lea) and he comes around, he AND anyone watching who might have ALSO once dismissed Adam, are treated to the practically irresistible Elliot. The context of Adam/Starchild's performance here was, only if you're being an idiot would you not want to hear and see Starchild/Elliot/Adam. (I heard WWFM on the radio today. I hear Wake Me Up on the radio a LOT - call me crazy, but I think LMD will be a single soon and I think it will get radio play.)

I dunno, but in a sense, those tweets have both totally pleased and really bothered me. Adam is still Adam. But now people who called him "shriek-y", "weird", (and often "fat/ugly") are now going WHOA!!Yes, his voice has gotten better, but he still rocks the high notes he did before. Yes, his complexion has improved and he's toned up nicely, but Lord knows he was always good-looking, and while he wasn't "Hollywood thin" initially, he was never significantly overweight. His performance style is still "theatrical" (suck it Simon), and will probably always be. He was always a charismatic sweetheart in interviews then, and he absolutely remains the same in interviews now. So why the perception change? #pleasedandirkedatsametime Are you sure those are the same people? I know people who hated Adam way back, still hate him. Many are FOOs, others just don't like him, and I don't see any of them changing their views.

[grins wryly, but with nostalgia]
Hey guys, new promo for Idol just came out. And, yes, Adam is there. Not named checked like some of the big winners, but definitely with a nice performance shot.

This morning (my first day of vacation) my DD called at 7am to meet me for breakfast. I was still half asleep after staying up most of the night on here watching the videos and reading all the great reviews and tweets. She usually tells me everything going on with my DGD etc but this am all she wanted to talk about was Adam on Glee...Adam, Adam, Adam...how great he was and how hot he was in the diner and how cute in the loft when he set up from the floor and singing Roar and how even though all the HS kids were half naked she just wanted them to get back to Adam so she could look at him. I know I looked just like Santana when she was watching Starchild and her mouth dropped to the floor. She's always liked Adam but never really wants to talk about him much. So what a shock. Score one for the good guys...LOL.
I'm just so happy he's being recognized for all his talents.

Also he looks rather tame next to others in show business....LOL
