I was wondering about something. I noticed that when someone brings an article here they have the link to click on to view which is great. However the whole article is opened and available for viewing without having to open it. I get that this is good to have it opened to view if you don't want to give an unsavoury poster hits. But especially now when there are so many positive articles and reviews for Glee's performance shouldn't we be giving these lots of hits to support Adam. I'm sure it shows a lot of interest when these articles and reviews get lots of hits. Why are the articles being left open for us to read without giving them hits? Agree muchly! Thanks for posting that! I think as much as possible we should be read articles and posts at their source. Good for Adam. Good for the people that write great things about Adam. Just plain old fair and right. I always feel that clicking on sites that write about Adam is part of my fan girl duties. We need to reward good behavior so it will continue.

Also to watch any Adam videos from the site, and tweet out those sites with Adam mention.. Being a fan can almost be a full-time job when he's busy!

Just got home from lunch with my daughter, she knows I'm a big fan of Adam. She is a Glee viewer so we spent some time talking about that. During our conversation I mentioned that Adam had parted ways with RCA (which she did not know). I found her comments quite telling she said:
I don't think they (RCA) did a very good job with Trespassing. There are songs on the radio now that when I hear them, remind me of Trespassing. That album should have done really well.

the conversation has probably moved on, but I agree with belle; I prefer to know where I'm going before I click on a link. If someone posts a "omg you've got to see this!" then an URL that doesn't indicate what site it's going to, I won't click. Maybe I'm paranoid but I have gotten too many viruses by clicking on things that have taken me places I don't want to go. I would think that it is a lot less work to give the original link which is what belle is asking for. The problem is that some of the original links don't work as links in Atop because the Atop site does not recognize some characters which are legal characters in web links. In that case, the first part of the link shows up as clickable but it does not go to the correct site because the full web address is not in the clickable part. All one has to do is copy the entire link and paste it into the web address field on a browser page. But some people do not recognize that this is the issue, so then there are several posts that the link does not take you to the right place. So some people avoid this by using some web site conversion tool which will take the original address and convert into a shorter address which works in Atop. (I have yet to find this site, so someone please post the link!) Anyway, what belle is asking for is that people post the original web link, which is the easiest thing to do anyway. Then if you want, you can go get the short web link conversion and post it in addition to the original web link that does not show up correctly as a full link address. Or just do like me and include in your post a short statement that one needs to copy & past the web link into a web browser address bar. It is actually the step of getting the short web link that is extra work. bitly.com/ is the place to go to convert your links. I think they may have recently changed it from bit.ly because the US government was using it so much too and well the ly mean it's from Lybia, lol, and we aren't on the most friendly of terms. Maybe someone else read the article closer sometime last month in the political news. Great site, everyone uses it.

Hmmmm......lesbian sister with gay brother.......not impossible, but highly improbable...but then again: this is GLEE! Not really even improbable, my daughter's best gay friend has a sister who is lesbian!! Very interesting! Thanks for sharing! I have known gay brothers but never heard of brother/sister....you're right! Anything is probable!

Continuity issue - Just noticed that during the NYC Roar, Adam is shown singing with the group most of the time. But there's a quick segment where he's missing from the group - everyone else is there but Adam.

Also... after watching MTN 5,047 times, I was finally able to briefly focus on something other than Adam, and I've been LOL at the drummer! He's having such a good time!!!

Relieved to see that others were disturbed or puzzled by the plot line of a high school boy hooking up with the school nurse. Yes, I think she is still a student nurse, but.... totally skeevy and a big no-no. In real life, if a student teacher were to get involved with a high school student, they would be pulled out of the assignment and probably kicked out of the teacher prep program. I think it is interesting that it is a male student. If it were a female, I think there would be an outcry from the moral police. I know that GLEE is a soap opera and not known for its ornate plot lines, but I wonder why Ryan went there. He usually includes plots that challenge conventional cultural rules and prejudices, but I don't get why he would want to be on this side of this issue. I wasn't outraged. Just kinda an EWWWWWW factor. Hi all, well I didn't want to mention my feeling about this before now with all the flailing about Glee/Adam. But I totally agree with what many are saying here about the Ohio plot. And another thing that REALLY disturbs me is IMHO, it seems like they are objectifying the girls in very unhealthy ways. What I mean, is the show seems to be saying to the audience that it is OK to find other girls to have sex with if your GF doesn't want to, OK to have a relationship with the school nurse who to me seems somewhat like an authority figure regardless of the age, OK to discriminate and bully a girl for not wanting to wear seashells and etc. It really does disturb me. Girls are not play toys for boys to prick and ogle at every second, and this is the message I fear the boys are getting from this. I love that Glee bends genders, physical limitations and other social norms. But this sleezy objectification of the girls is too much. I wish a show would talk about that and show more respect. Why doesn't Glee raise awareness about this problem females face in this regard if they try to cover current issue. OR, maybe I am just an old fuddy-duddy. Or perhaps I am a hypocrite since I sort of "ogle" Adam at times. So is turnabout fair play? Or is the pendulum in society just SO tilted toward the females. Anyway, at the very least a subject to be explored. Or, just get more hunky guys on TV in skimpy outfits, so females can objectify them the way society does the females. OK, done with my venting now:-))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))) Back to the awesomeness that is Adam. Regular Glee fans are taking the same stance as you and hitting it pretty hard. We do know that there will be consequences with the cheating part. For the not wearing a gaga outfit you can look at it as knowing that some people are not going to agree with your choices. It's part of the stay true to yourself you may take a hit. If you are going to be an artist you have to decide between truth or commercialism. Maybe they are starting a bigger conversation with this one. Found this on the Glee forum.
