I am not real clear on this. Is Nurse Penny a college student working as a school nurse? Glee did have a story line where Puck had an affair with a teacher/director of Vocal Adrenaline, Shelby. So not a taboo subject. Shelby had adopted his child and is also the bio mom of Rachel. Glee is a bit of a soap opera too. lol Glee a soap opera?? Nevah! But at least it was a different school. Some of the inherent power inequities are less applicable. (And plus Puck always struck me as a "I am sex god, here's my dick" versus "I am puppy dog in love with yooooooooou" persona. Different dynamic with less likelihood to being taken advantage of, soap opera notwithstanding!)

Gelly @14gelly Review: Adam Lambert amazes on 'Glee' with Gaga's 'Marry The Night' shar.es/80YH8 via @digitaljournal On November 6, American Idol Season 8 runner-up winner Adam Lambert made his debut performance on "Glee," in an episode titled "A Katy or A Gaga." He played the character of "Starchild" who auditions for Kurt's new band. Lambert is seen wearing an outfit that his character designed that is reminiscent of Boy George. In the episode, "Starchild" noted that Gaga is one of his favorite artists who always inspires him to stay true to himself, despite what other people may think. Lambert went on to deliver a powerhouse and spellbinding rendition of Lady Gaga's "Marry The Night," which was one of the most dynamic male vocal performances in the history of the show. He was able to twist it, make it his own and give it a unique and fresh feel. The Verdict In summation, Adam Lambert showcased a great deal of charisma and his energy and stage presence were both infectious. It made the viewers watching at home feel at if they were at a private Adam Lambert concert. Looks like all his musical theatre training and experience has paid off. His outfit was campy and his vocal range was impeccable. One of the highlights was when he was swinging on the chandelier, thus making it seem effortless. His acting and vocal performance on the show garnered an A+ rating. They would have certainly made Lady Gaga herself proud, had she been watching this episode. It is evident that Lambert's talent has no boundaries. Hopefully, there will be many more appearances on "Glee" to come. Bravo Adam Lambert.

Worse (and a few of the articles have mentioned this) - Mr Shue suspended a high school student for refusing to wear a seashell bikini. Um.
Another vote from me to move the whole show to New York.

Yeah, that was indeed a WTF. Lots of better ways of advancing a storyline than telling a teenage girl "Hey, we'll kick you out if you don't strip!". Even in a friggin soap opera you don't suspend an uncomfortable kid for not following those kind of "directions". Ick. I like the New York storyline Adam's in so much better.

Gelly @14gelly Lambert: I go with my gut - Film-News.co.uk : www.film-news.co.uk/show-news.asp? nItemID=22136&utm_source=twitterfeed&utm_medium=twitter#.Un4IROiP8CR.twitte r … Adam Lambert loves being a “polarising artist”. The Trespassing hitmaker catapulted to fame after he came in as a runner-up on American Idol in 2009. Four years later, he’s still enjoying a successful music career, but admits critics can be ruthless. Still, Adam insists he embraces the fact his music and persona puts some people off. “I think it makes you stronger and people identify with that. I think people identify with artists that are polarising. It brings out stronger fans when you’re a polarising artist,” he told Entertainment Tonight. The star is done trying to please everyone and realises it would be an impossible feat. Instead he follows his instinct, and so far he’s pleased with the results. “You can’t please everybody… You’ve got to do what your heart is telling you to do. You’ve got to create what your gut is telling you to create. And if someone likes it, awesome. If other people don’t like it, oh well,” he shrugged. Adam is currently working on a multi-episode cameo role as an over-the-top singer named Elliot ‘Starchild’ Gilbert on Glee. After auditioning for a part on the hit US TV musical before its 2005 debut and failing to secure a role he says he feels fortunate to have come full circle. “I’m lucky. I feel lucky and I feel like I’ve been given really cool opportunities,” Adam said. “Things keep coming and I keep running with it.”
