Adam on Ellen -- talking to a couple of labels vs. his previous comment was "a handful". There are only two major label not named Sony -- UMG and Warner plus some large independent. Just my guess is the 2 = UMG and Warner Music Group. Well... I haven't been paying too much attention to the labels debate lately because of my ER shifts and stuff, but my gut tells me he's already with a label and they just don't wanna announce it yet. Maybe I'm wrong, but that's what my heart tells me.  I think they are still negotiating but very close to a decision. What seems to be certain is that he has a choice of deals. The way he smiled when he said it was down to two -- he was just too happy. And what better place to be than to have two deals on the table. Adam usually does not lie and if he had already signed he would not have said they were talking to a couple of labels -- he would have said something vague like "in the works". |
