In 1979 I was a member of a very large archaeological crew working in West Alabama on the Tenn-Tom Waterway. The crew had people from all over the US on it, but was largely a joint project of the University of Alabama and the University of Michigan. (I was from Alabama but doing graduate work at U of M). The Yankee guys were so surprised and appalled at the rowdiness of all the Southern women on the crew that they dubbed us "dangerbelles" and I've been one ever since  And BTW, since I'm delurking, let me just say how much I enjoy all of you on this board. You are consistently positive, funny, and kind, all attributes of AFL. Love him and all of you. Great story, dangerbelle!! And so glad you delurked! ![]() |

ladyoz seems pretty obvious for an online name .... but I actually picked it to honor and emphasize my adopted country - Australia ... I'm originally from Canada (born and raised there). I have been in this beautiful country for 31 years and proudly call myself an ozzie

My name is actually my first and middle names together. Boring, I know, but at least I won't forget it (hopefully) and they will be with me until the end. I also am a prolific lurker here. I have joined several Adam fan sites but since discovering Atop a few years back, this is my only go-to place. You are my cyber family! I have had the pleasure of meeting a handful of you in person too! My screen name is about as basic as it gets. My given name is Lorraine and I wanted to just keep it real,plain and simple. I remember a time when Adam was asked what name he would like to use --on his cd, when he became a star ,. etc. He simply said "I want to be called Adam Lambert. Good enough for me......

My name comes from my last dog (a poodle I had for nearly 17 years), her name was Pennie and I always called her Pennie Lulu puppy dog, just being silly. Hence Lulu and 1265 is a number I've used for years in passwords.
This has been great hearing the origins of everyone's names. Really good idea!

Lol I was reading the thread backwards and didn't realize Sauli had skated to Vogue, too. Loved that performance and that's probably what lifeguard was looking for. I can't believe how much Sauli has improved. He looks gorgeous on ice! Thanks for posting the link!!! |
