Sorry, been at soccer games and wasn't able to tell my name story until now. S*&@^#r was the name of our sweet Golden Retriever. In 2005, we had to put him down. He was one month short of being 15. He was the dog all my kids grew up with. Letting him go was the hardest thing I've ever done. About that time I needed an on line name and MyS*&@^#r seemed perfect!  Ohhh, we lost our Golden a few years ago. He was also 15 and had been a therapy dog in a nursing home most of his life. When he needed ear surgery at age 10, they decide he was too old for the nursing home!!!!!!! So we took him. Had 5 years with one of the sweetest pups ever! Now, should I change my name to Benjamin???  |

This has been a fun day reading all the 'name stories' Mine is quite boring. Just the name of my first cat. (her mother was named Nova). Guess way back then I thought the whole Nova Scotia connection was fun. |

HaHa! Obviously I don't post often. I don't know what I am doing! I'm sorry for submitting twice. I'll quit and retreat back to lurkdom where my editing and posting skills are much better!  NO, come out lurkdom!!!!!!!!!!!!! Don't stop posting!!!!!!!Half the time I have no idea what I am doing. I still have not mastered the research skills and the graphic inserts that I see on this site.  |

It's the Madonna episode with Sue Sylvester and the Glee cast doing Vogue.

My name started when I had a project at work which required me to become familiar with the Second Life online virtual world. When registering, one has to choose a last name out of a list that they supply. Most of the names I could not even pronounce, much less spell. So I chose the simplest one which had any meaning to me which was "Georgia". To go with the virtual world last name, I chose Dancy as my first name because at the time I was taking ballroom dance lessons in Atlanta, Georgia. The name has stuck!  |

Nonotme came about because at one point I finally decided to become a member at Planet Fierce, and I thought, "Do I want to use some form of my real name?" "No, not me" was my answer to myself. Plus I have always noticed and enjoyed colloquialisms and slang. I kept the name, but did not have an avi until this form of Atop gave me an alien egg head instead of letting me have the simplicity of nothing.
Craazyforadam, Bill O'Reilly played a role in my becoming an Adam fan, too. I don't watch much TV, and I channel surf during commercials when I do. By channel surfing I happened on Adam's audition for Idol. I watched the whole thing and thought that I should try to remember his name because I thought he had talent. When the next audition came on I went back to what I'd been watching. I didn't wind up remembering Adam's name.
Another time I was surfing the news channels, which are in a row on my cable line-up, and I hit on Bill O'Reilly trashing Adam. I recognized Adam as the guy from Idol even with the black rectangle over the kiss he was sharing with someone. (Brad, as I learned later, of course.) So I watched and thought if Bill O'Reily is trying to trash him, he deserves my support. Then I went online and looked him up and watched youtubes of what I had missed. After that I made sure to keep up via youtube and occasionally by channel surfing to try to catch him if I happened to be watching TV. Then, poof, like the experience so many have had, I was a fan.
