Your names sparked me to think....(  )
Someday we should ask/share about the concept of the "names" we have chosen. This will probably be a slow day, so it seems like as good a day as any to say how we chose our posting names. Are you a stamp collector? My posting name is a blend of my cats' names. Murphy was my sweet little girl who died three years ago, and Molly is my beautiful older cat who still gives me a lot of joy. Mur-ly. I feel kind of bad that my name doesn't reflect the existence of my new little sweetheart, Emmy, but I've been Murly so long on so many sites that I can't change it now. I like to think Emmy understands. |

![]() Okay, it really is a slow day, so I'll join in revealing how I chose my posting name augenpoesie is an easy one to explain, because it means translated into english "eye-poetry" or "poetry for the eyes". I was searching for a trade name for my photography and I did a little brainstorming with my friends and family and I spare you of all the details of all the names my good friends (hahaha) came up with  My brother was suggesting "augenpoesie" and it felt like the perfect fit from the second I read it - so that became my "brand". |

My name came about when we were on the Planet Fierce board before it close (which is why Atop was born). I wanted to reflect the planets and my interest in classical music. So I'm named after the composer Gustav Holst, who is most famous for composing "The Planets."
