I see who is selling out Staples and Hollywood Bowl and I am quite confident Queen could sell out at least one night! I think comparing Paul Rodgers stats is irrelevant quite frankly. And what bridgeymah said!! But what about the Queen with Freddie numbers? ** Staples Center - skipping Kings (NHL ice hockey), ice shows, Lakers (NBA) and the Jingle Ball (promo concert), there are 8 concert between now and the end of February. Michael Buble is the only artist who is not current on the radio. 11/25 Drake almost sold out. 11/26 Justin Timberlake sold out. 11/29 Michael Buble large number of seats in upper level. 12/3 Beyone sold out 12/4 Macklemore and Ryan Lewis most of the upper level is empty. 12/8 Jay-Z lots of tickets available 2/8/14 George Straight sold out 2/22/14 Miley Cyrus about 50% sold out No rock acts, no classic artists.

Respectfully disagree. Paul McCartney, Elton John tour to great crowds, both recent releases are not selling well at all. Paul Rogers was a poor fit, Adam restores the band to its former and familiar sound. Stage show touring US, movie press, Iheart press (before and after) commercial tie ins, and a strong multi generational appeal will sell tickets (I've seen both Paul and Elton in the last few years, VERY diverse crowds).
Big THANK YOU to everyone here for all you do, I lurk daily.
RE Staples shows, how often do those artist tour? Queen would be an EVENT, not just a show.

Well the picture is not one of his best, but the write up. You would think he had done nothing since 2010 INDIANA: ADAM LAMBERT The American Idol runner-up spent his early years in Indianapolis before relocating to California with his family. But Midwest Glamberts welcomed the rocker as their own when he brought his Glam Nation tour to Indiana in 2010. What kind of magazine is People. I've always thought of it as what you read in a doctors office 5 months late. and trashy. Is that just me? Oh that is pathetic!

[Pokes head out, looks for any fellow beavers.....]
"No one else here?"
This little beaver scurries off by herself to work on her tidy (she wishes!) little dam.....

Big THANK YOU to everyone here for all you do, I lurk daily. I though Queen + AL in Madison Square Garden made complete sense until I started to look at the numbers. And remember the 1982 tour. The numbers made me more realistic. I think there needs to be a special event associated with a Q+AL concert to put it in an arena. ** Paul is in a league of his own -- he is one of the most popular concert artist to play the US. He did 8 concert here - mostly in stadiums on his latest tour. Elton's US Tour is not doing as well. It is in arenas, not stadiums for a 13 city tour. I just checked Friday's concert in Minneapolis and I could buy 2 floor seats. or 2 first level seats. I could buy Row 11 right floor. 11/27/13 Elton John Philadelphia Standard tickets Adult Lower LOWER 102 17 17-18 12/3/13 Elton John Madison Square Garden Same thing. Lots and lots of tickets for sale. I got row 8 Platinum L or R or Section 2 on the Floor row 3 Standard or could buy the first level. 12/4/13 Elton John Madison Square Garden Same thing. Lots and lots of tickets for sale. I got row 12 Platinum L or R or Section 2 on the Floor row 6 Standard or could buy the first level. I am sure they will do something to fill a lot of the Elton seats but not without discounting or doing some kind of promotion.
