Q3: I agree with you that singing an aria requires lots of training in that style/type. It is not something you get a few pointers on in an hour or two, and then do it convincingly. Adam has not been focused on that type of singing in many years, and, tho' he is very skilled, it would be trivializing the hard work and years of study done by classical singers to say that adam could just jump in there and do it. However, and this is a big however, many of his basic vocal techniques are the same as a classical singer's. I believe that he could apply those techniques with the right coaching, and transition to the more classical style. There are times when it peeks thru, even with a pop/rock song (for example, a few phrases of WWTLF and Soaked). So, if Adam ever took it into his head to sing an aria, I don't think it would take him years of training to pull it off convincingly. But it would take more than a couple of days/weeks. Does he have the voice type for opera? Yes, I think he does. Not the dramatic tenor roles, but the roles for a lyric or leggero tenor. But, if he ever wanted to sing opera, he would have continued his study in that direction. I don't think the idea has ever wafted past his brain, even on those drugs at Burning Man. I do hold out some fragile hope for him to return, at least on a very temporary basis, to classic music theater. That would be enough for me. Agree with you Cassie. However, for purposes of singing opera on Glee (fat chance), he could do it. The general public would drop jaws. They love mediocre classical singers on America's Got Talent and Britain's Got Talent--not to mention Andrea Bocelli. Many people think Bocelli is an opera singer and love his renditions of arias. Adam certainly has better technique (better everything) than Bocelli and could pull of an aria just fine for Glee. Well, I agree that Adam >>> Bocelli. But that does not mean much. And yes, I think that the classical voice training Adam got when he was growing up inform and distinguish his current singing style -- but he is a pop-rock and theatrical singer. I do not need him to sing opera to know he could do it if he wanted -- but I can't see him wanting to invest the time to do it up to his level of perfection. *** Someone on The Voice is covering Queen's STL.

I really have to give a BIG THUMBS UP to the person who created puppet Adam. Just looking at this puppet you can tell IT'S ADAM! The hair, the thick eyebrows and the blue eyes... yes the nose too but it's not as significant.

Adam Levine just told a Voice contestant who sang "Somebody to Love" that he could sing with Queen and hold his own. Hmmm.

Adam Levine just told a Voice contestant who sang "Somebody to Love" that he could sing with Queen and hold his own. Hmmm. Well the coaches on The Voice always say their vocalists are great. The production was great. Interestingly, Christina did not mention the vocal -- just the staging and choreo. **** TV credits are based on contracts -- Guest Star vs. Special Guest Star. The credit is often linked to the importance of the role in the show -- but not always. Special Guest Stars are most often famous people who play a role very similar to who they are or who play themselves. Guest Stars usually play a bigger role and usually earn more. But there are not "rules" about this. Special Guest Stars have been on for 1 to 12 episodes. glee.wikia.com/wiki/List_of_Special_Guest_Stars_on_GleeSome big stars have been Special Guest Stars. Sometimes it has been someone who is not on the cast yet -- and had a breakout moment -- who they want to highlight before they add them to the cast.

AHHHHHHHH I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE DAMNNNNN AHHH WAIT WAIT He was filming Glee this morning with Rachel. So did he do this after and that means filming is finished for now or does Starchild have a new look? Can't wait to see Cinnamon Spice in person!!!! Still fixating on the new hair. My first thought was since he was filming at Glee today that their hair people had done it. But then figured that he would want his long time stylist (the girl whose name starts with an A that I can never remember to do it. The timing is interesting though....why today...but then why not today!!
