Adam Levine just told a Voice contestant who sang "Somebody to Love" that he could sing with Queen and hold his own. Hmmm. One song does not make a Queen frontman! Levine has NO idea the range those Queen songs have!

WAIT WAIT He was filming Glee this morning with Rachel. So did he do this after and that means filming is finished for now or does Starchild have a new look? Can't wait to see Cinnamon Spice in person!!!! Still fixating on the new hair. My first thought was since he was filming at Glee today that their hair people had done it. But then figured that he would want his long time stylist (the girl whose name starts with an A that I can never remember to do it. The timing is interesting though....why today...but then why not today!! Today because he wants to look amazing for the 2 shows coming up!

Hi Everyone -- I thought I would share an amazing experience I had yesterday! A year or so ago, my cousin Mark and his partner of 27 years Joseph, told me they were thinking of getting married since it is now legal in WA State. I said I would love to do the wedding, but Joe said that he had a judge friend he wanted to ask, but I could sing. Fast forward to a couple of months ago--I get the wedding invitation (yay) and Mark asked me to call--it turns out they wanted to know if I could read something at the ceremony. Of course I said yes. Then last Tuesday, I got a somewhat panicked call from Mark asking if I might be able to officiate at the ceremony...and so yesterday I officiated (in my pastor guise) at their wedding. It was truly one of the happiest weddings I have ever been part of. When Mark and Joe entered the ballroom where the wedding was being held and started down the aisle, everyone not only stood--they cheered. It was fabulous. I got great compliments on the ceremony but the ones that meant the most were from the grooms, who told me they were happy it worked out the way it did and that the service was perfect. Our family is Scandinavian Lutheran and Joe's is Jewish, so I blended both traditions and Joe's brother-in-law even brought glasses for the grooms to break at the end of the ceremony. We were surrounded by over 100 friends, family and assorted folks--and Brewster, the grooms' dog, even walked down the aisle with his pet-sitter! I felt so honored to be part of this wedding, which was 28 years in the making. Mark and Joe are one of the strongest couples I know, and I know they will be together forever. They also are a living example of the power of love--as the joy that showed in both their faces just lit up the room. What a great day! Thank you for sharing such a beautiful experience!

Levine has NO idea the range those Queen songs have! I am pretty sure Adam Levine is very familiar with the Queen catalog -- he has covered their music in concert and sang a Queen medley on The Voice with the other judges in 2011. this is just want he said because the singer is his best shot of winning this season. I think it was a poor song choice but the staging was great.

Agree with you Cassie. However, for purposes of singing opera on Glee (fat chance), he could do it. The general public would drop jaws. They love mediocre classical singers on America's Got Talent and Britain's Got Talent--not to mention Andrea Bocelli. Many people think Bocelli is an opera singer and love his renditions of arias. Adam certainly has better technique (better everything) than Bocelli and could pull of an aria just fine for Glee. Excellent point, Holst. For the purposes of singing opera on Glee (not at the Metropolitan Opera House) he could do a very convincing job of it. Bocelli is a fine example of what you are saying. And people always point out to me that Freddie sang opera. No, he did not. He sang with an opera singer. Dressed as an opera singer. In an operatic style number. With orchestra, chorus, etc like opera in concert. But, he, himself, tho' an extraordinary rock frontman, did NOT sing opera. If people watch that and are raving about his accomplishment, Adam singing an aria would boggle their minds. And mine, for that matter. Close enough for a TV musical soap opera, and wow, would it sound great, no matter that it is not authentic opera. I thought Bocelli's known as Classical, Operatic pop singer. And No! Freddie didn't sing opera, he's trying to combine the element of pop and opera in his album Barcelona. I think he loves opera, since we can hear opera element in a lot of Queen's songs .. or what they call Rock Opera.

I think it means he has a recurring role and Demi's has an end (6 episodes.) That's what I was thinking too.. but her fans not going to like it though..

The judges singing the Queen medley was two years ago but was memorably bad. There is only one Adam who should sing Queen song... Adam the puppeteer!
