Into the Grove staging and ugly clothes make more sense knowing that it is a Kurt fantasy. I just couldn't picture the group choosing this look. it all seems very Kurt like. The song choice also makes sense for Kurt.

Squeee. Yay. Adam! On my screen. For the world to see. Yes! But......... yawn. Kinda boring staging and filming and song, don't you think? It makes me greatly appreciate the wonderful fan videos we get of Adam actually performing live. Even those amateur clips with iPhone cameras are much more riveting and exciting than Into the Groove. IMHO. Got a question for those with great ears. When I hear Chris sing the verse, it sounds to me like they have overdubbed the singing. That they have two lead tracks on top of each other to add richness and texture to it. It is a common practice, especially before the producers had all the high tech stuff to sweeten the sound in the studio. When Adam sings his verse, I do not hear a doubled vocal. Just one. Course, he doesn't need any tricks to add richness and fullness to his voice. So, am I imagining this, or do others hear this as well? Well yes certainly you're right it is boring,etc. But It's Kurt's first try at having a band and they are kids doing a first gig.. so I think It should be everything it is , a bit awkward. Nevertheless Adam SHINES, that charisma just doesn't quit |
