I wonder if she might be a tailor? Her work is gorgeous!!!! I LOVE those dolls. I think they are adorable and sweet. They are actually my favorite of all the fan art created in homage to Adam. Her quickness AND attention to detail are qualities I admire greatly. I love her dolls too. I think she is very accomplished at her craft. I always enjoy seeing her latest creations. I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving.

Just throwing in a good world for the dolls here too. I I wish I could produce something that looked like that....wow. I hope she does not see peeps calling her creepy....I would think that would be really hurtful.

Yep, I lurve them dolls too because they lovingly, whimsically capture in craft (of all things) Adam's own love of style. It's fun to me to imagine how excited she must get when Adam wears something wild and new.

There would be people would find ALL of us creepy, to be so smitten with Adam! :D I love those dolls, and invariably chortle every time I see a new one, but I must confess I did find it creepy in ONE instance. The video where the Starchild doll is dangling mid-air from the chandelier and swinging around. I mean, the doll's outfit was fantastic, down to the ornament on the side of the top hat, the little chandelier was great - but the video itself (with no sound, the doll slowly spinning around with its hand attached to the chandelier) - looked a little.... like a scene from a crime novel/show. THAT gave me bit of a turn. (shrug) Wonder if she has little wardrobes stacked high filled with little hangers for all the outfits. That would be a sight to see! |

I don't think mys*&@^#r hates the dolls. I believe her "creepy" comment was sort of tongue-in-cheek.... it was like "it's kinda creepy HOW FAST this woman can make them, and omg... where on earth does she keep them all cause there must be HUNDREDS of them by now!!" And then you kind of imagine a huge room filled with a gazillion little nekkid Adam dolls waiting to get their next outfit...  Yeah... that might be kinda weird.  But someone mentioned maybe there's only one or two little nekkid Adam dolls, and she just keeps taking off/putting on new outfits, and I'm thinking that sounds reasonable (and mys*&@^#r agreed with this). I dunno... I find all dolls totally boring, so I just scroll on past and don't even look at them. LOL  ETA: Yeah, I just went back and re-read mys*&@^#r's post. I think the "feeling creepy" is referring to the speed at which these doll outfits are made. They show up SO FAST after Adam wears them... it's almost kinda supernatural/weird/witchy <---that kind of creepy... almost like the doll maker knows what Adam's gonna be wearing ahead of time. |
