I would like to remind you guys that if you are going to download stuff from iTunes or Amazon, please consider D/L through the Atop portals at the bottom of the page. It helps to keep the threads ad-free. Done. Thanks for the reminder.

The analytical discussion of Glee is ....er...um.....interesting. As someone who likes Glee and watches the show even if AFL isn't on it, I enjoyed this episode. I thought the fantasy sequences were especially creative. They cram a lot in less than an hour! I can understand though that strictly Adam fans could be very frustrated by the show. I felt a bit of anxiety myself in moments, wanting Adam to have a more prominent role. I think Glee is a show that is really more about the music than a deeply developed storyline.

What ever you celebrate today, I hope it's happy and as family filled as possible. And of course GLEE-ful. Hope we have lots of goodies tomorrow - off to pick up the last minute forgotten items for dinner. Truly, this is my Grandmother's kitchen -- woodstove, table, everything. Some of the most wonderful childhood memories still remain of her old and drafty farmhouse in Northern Michigan. Happy Thanksgiving!

Global TV @global_TV Tonight @adamlambert & @ddlovato return to #Glee as Kurt's band has its first gig. Watch tonight 9 et/pt. Preview: glbl.tv/IdZSZj Well, actually, they did have their first gig but we didn't see it. We only saw Kurt's dream of their first gig. I know Starchild said he would be anything that Kurt's character wanted him to be but I thought they blended Lambert (and Lovato) too much into the background. I thought guest stars were used to heighten the episodes. Of course, I was thrilled to have Adam on my TV but I think Glee could have used both their guest stars to better advantage. Not trying to downplay how great this exposure has been for Adam's career. j/s

I wonder if she has limited rehearsal time factored in ahead of time (X Factor at critical point in the season blah blah) and that's why she is so absent? I guess will see if things change in the new season. If not, what under utilization of awesome talent. However, the main thing is Adam is getting exposure and a lot of chance to see how multifaceted his talent is and how he can contribute to any creative endeavor. It was said earlier somewhere so I will agree that I think it is hard to make a villain out of Adam in a speaking role. His incredibly enlivening, rich and inspiring speaking voice doesn't seem to support that kind of role. Good thing JCS is all sung because he can pull the edge in singing but IMHO, not a villainous speaking voice. Even when he curses like a sailor, there is some disjunct between the language and that voice unless he is being very stagy with that cadence he can get when he is playfully naughty.
