And I'd like to see Adam mentor one week on Idol. He's matured so much since his last mentoring gig. I'd be intrigued with the advice he'd have for contestants this season. "Drop out now or you'll be signed to RCA"  I am getting more and more impressed by his acting and I really hope we'll see more of it in the future episodes...btw, was Demi there at all? I thiiiink she had a line in that first scene... ??? |

I agree with Viv that the promos were better than the show. Adam is such a chasmatic person, but I think I'm going have to watch the Adam parts only and fast forward through the tons of commercials. I can't believe that I'm not 100% into a show that's doing so much for Adam. I think I was spoiled by the MTN --Adam as "star. " It is difficult to see Adam go from MTN to ensemble. Bound to happen, but I sure did get spoiled with that first episode. Glee is asking for your favorite part of tonite's show and I can't wait to hear the response. |

Adam looks so gorgeous on my TV. And I love all of his facial expressions. They speak volumes. Plus, he does a good job delivering his lines. A real WIN!
But, lawd, I couldn't get into the episode at all. It skims the surface of any plot line or twist, never developing anything to the point that we might be interested in the character or what is happening to them. I feel almost like we are getting the condensed, "Here's what happened on Glee" version of an episode. True, many of sitcoms have very little plot either. But, they are mostly genuinely funny. Glee isn't. It tries to be, but, falls short. Perhaps the problem is there are way too many characters so none of them get enough time to develop into real people we care about. Who knows.
But Adam looks ADAMAZING. Hope it leads to a lot more TV and movie work. And many new fans.
