Exactly. And, please, a doll is NOT a child. Honestly, rather than be offended by differing opinions or critiques, just scroll. I scroll past stuff every single day. eta---the doll has chest hair, I find that kinda creepy, I can't help it I'm not telling that a doll is a child, I'm trying to explain that when you are an artist your feelings about art you are creating are very similar to those you have for your child. Maybe because process of creation is very similar to pregnacy. And this is the simplest way to explain how artists feel about their work. And those are very strong feelings, believe me.

Not in the rooms of regular "deluxe" room guests like me. Must be in the suites.

will somebody give me a holler when we are done talking about dolls? :DDD If you like, I could bring up the whole "it's a culture, not a costume" thing again . . . (JK!)

Every time I see "creepy" being used to describe the dolls, I'm reminded of rule #4 here at Adamtopia. Maybe it's just me, but doesn't that sort of comment violate it? Hell, maybe I'm violating it right now by saying I wish people would stop doing that. I really don't know. What I'm 100% clear on is that the doll maker loves Adam, is seriously talented, and combines those two things to express herself. Discussion about forum rules in quote deleted by Q3.Actually, I think you just violated that rule, not me. My comment is about a thing that someone on twitter makes. As far as I know, that person is not a member here. I am not criticizing anyone who likes the dolls. I never have. If you think they are cute.... great! People criticize Adam's hair, clothes, beard all the time and this is an Adam Lambert board. Me? I adore pretty much everything he ever wears, every hairstyle he has ever had, and I love him with and without the scuff. I think saying the dolls are getting creepy (fake chest hair? Huh?) is so much less than all the criticism Adam gets from people on an Adam fan site. Oh, and thanks to all the people who DMed me who also find the dolls a bit too much! Let's drop the conversation about these dolls. Thanks! I know there are a lot of opinions about them but I plan to enjoy the concert tonight and do not want to spend my evening deleting comments. Thanks!Note: You can expect that every mention of ATop rules will be gone in the morning -- so don't waste my time or yours posting about them. **** On more exciting and important topics -- Adam is going to be performing in the best nightclub in the US and one of the best in the world tonight. Where he belongs! On a top world stage.
