SK, why should you and Nea Ojala win Dancing on Ice?
I haven't really thought about winning but sure it would be awesome! We've worked a lot for this and I've surpassed my limits already.
What are your strenghts in the final?
Our chemistry. It has strenghtened during the season. My personal strenghts are maybe jumps, pirouettes and agility.
And your weaknesses?
When I'm taught a new move it takes a lot of repeats. I don't learn very quickly.
What is best in your coach Nea?
Nea is strict enough and know how to play it. With the show she's become a very good friend to me and spend also spare time together.
What is your favourite routine of your own in the contest?
I liked the Pirates of the Caribbean routine. There was speed and a nice groove. I also like 'Minä ja hän' (Me and him) by Jenni Vartiainen. It was totally different performance, peaceful and beautiful.
What has been your best moment in the show?
The best is that I've got to know so many new and great people, and got new friends. Also a memorable moment was when our 'Minä ja hän' routine made Marco Bjurström cry and we got our first ten.
How are you going to celebrate the possible win?
We have no plans yet but certainly we'll celebrate if we win. A party with the production team and all skaters for sure, no matter how the contest turns out.
What are you going to do after the contest when you start everyday life?
I'm going leave quite soon to the other side of the ocean, resting there at least the whole December and having a tranquil Christmas.
How are you going to use your new skating skills in the future?
I'm sure the skating is not over. I don't know yet if I take the skates with me but I'll try to go skating in order to maintain the skills. It would be nice to teach some basic technique to friends too.
