got some sad news today an dear friend who lived in switzerland (shit i cant spell) had died .
then the news came about Nelson mandleA (fuck i cant type either),
so after spending the day arranging the trip to switzerland, i popped in here to cheer me up, there were QU+AL vids ,
i disapeared for hours down the rabbit hole ,WHO THE FUCK invented these RABBIT HOLES ,anyway,they are bottomless pits
you can lose DAYS, of your life in these places !!!!!
there is the possibillity (it took 3 goes to come up with that spelling ) could some one tell me where to find spell check ,i know it exists ,just never found it (tech challenged ),
whit wis i on aboot ,see if i tipe in the mither tongue ,naebiddy kens if ma spellin or tipin is correct!!
oh ah ken ,ah wis jist wonderin if some of oor missin atopers ,had gone doon yen o these RABBIT HOLES an couldna find their way oot !!

I'm watching and I like it. IMO Carrie is doing a very good job acting and her voice is beautiful. Twitter is just Twitter. Oh, that is good to hear! I just felt so bad reading all the sniping! Thank you! all I can say is I lasted all thru the first song with the kids ( Do Re Mi) and decided that the PBS's Luciano Pavarotti special is a waaaay better option.... although Audra McDonald was awesome as usually... |

Oh, that is good to hear! I just felt so bad reading all the sniping! I tried. I really tried. Remember, I LIKE musical theater. This just didn't translate well to the TV screen, IMO. Very "stage-y" acting from the kids. Not at all natural. Carrie? Not horrible. Not cringe-worthy. But, not very convincing of an actress. I haven't heard much of her singing, so I cannot comment on that. I keep trying to hang in there until she has another solo (I tuned in late), but I think I'll just wish her well and go listen/watch Queenbert. Oh, BTW, why did they cast an actor who is NOT a trained singer as the father? I guess he is a big name? Christopher Plummer in the original movie wasn't a singer either. But there are so many highly talented actor/singers out there, would it hurt them to employ one? Queenbert here I come. Take me away! |

My rabbithole tonight - the concert in Kiev. I know some prefer specific performances from London, especially if they attended them. But the overall sound quality combined with start to finish coverage is so great in the Kiev video. Here is an excellent youtube: ![]() |

We may have lost some members permanently down there. The sides get slick with sweat, tears and drool and you keep falling back and finding another favorite video you had forgotten about. Occasionally real life throws you a rope that you have to resentfully take hold of. Hey, I changed my mind about not watching Glee and this episode must be the most x rated ever. No wonder fox turned it down last year and I can see that the pearl clutchers will be out in force shortly! |
