Did anyone listen to the songs Adam tweeted about? I made it thru about half of Kids trying to focus on the LYRIC he was so OMG about. But I guess it is too early in the morning to endure the voice that was singing it, maybe a late at night tune? I shut off the Jessie J/Robin Thicke song almost immediately, blech. Does it get better? I loved the Kids tune, even tho I couldn't make out some of the lyrics, even after several listens. I was not aware of this other young Swedish DJ/composer "Style of Eye"...seems he co-wrote that huge Icona Pop hit "I Love It". I was disappointed in the Jessie J/Robin Thicke tune, altho JJ's vocals were great. The song was kinda boring to me......altho I liked the disco feel. It'll probably be a hit. ETA. ljsmack........I agree with your interpretation of the lyrics and can see why Adam gave the lyrics an OMG !!!!!!! Just adding in here...I agree...I rather liked the Kids one but the JJ one leaves me cold.....did not even enjoy her voice particularly ....very ordinary I thought...

I get lost at iTunes sometimes and can't find what I'm looking for at all! Could someone please tell me how to get to see all the Glee songs for this season? Thanks. iTunes gets me so frustrated sometimes.

He makes me cry every time he sings WWTLF. I don't think anyone else should ever sing that song ever. Someone posted that awesome video of Soaked the other day. Speaking of Adam singing and soul making you cry. For some reason that song is so evocative to me that I can barely listen to it. It pierces me. Only way I can describe the emotion. I attribute that to Adam's ability to inhabit a song, to sing the emotion of a song as well as the lyrics. There is something so plaintive, so soul deep, so embracing, so core reaching about the way he sings that song. Like you are a sad lonely helpless person lost and he reaches out to you and offers a place of comfort and solace and understanding and non judgmental acceptance. To me, that song is just sheer genius in the way it can entwine itself around my whole being. It transcends just the idea of wanting love in a romantic way, for me it speaks to that aloneness that we all feel sometimes, when someone saying: would be so soothing, so warm so exactly what you need. Damn, words fail me! I just know that Adam singing that song is almost too much for me. Besides the technical skill, the range, the enunciation, I think this is what Adam's genius is, he inhabits a song, he lives the lyrics as he sings them, he lets you see inside his soul for a brief time. So amazed at the way he reaches me.

So beautifully written and echoes my exact response. I feel the same way about Soaked and also about Broken Open. Broken Open is quieter but very similar kind of vision. They are both about a safe harbor - creating from whatever is at hand a kind of wholeness, a place of some semblance of contentment.
