redpanda, yes! For me this is the essence of Adam's magic. He completely embodies the music-and not just the ballads like Soaked but even the rock stuff, like Shout, or the sexy stuff, like Broken English. His music is so encompassing like none other!
blueberry, enjoyed the Finnish Christmas. How does one make ice lanterns? Unfortunately I live somewhere that could sustain those from now thru March at least. I would so enjoy the beauty and the Finnish connection. eta- nevermind, unless you can tell me more authentically than google. I am going to try it!
anybody, does anybody know how big a set to expect from the Trevor Live thing? With all those performers I am thinking I may need to down scale my previous expectations. Thanks ahead.

thanks for the input on the songs Adam tweeted. I did not have a chance to really digest everything since I had to run off to a meeting that turned into two hours! I read the guardian article finally, that helped. shout out to ljsmack for posting it. I got a bit turned off when I was listening to the song and it was inferred that generic hipster has no sex appeal. I like that hipster indy thing actually!
Ljsmack, so you looked into Justin also...I saw SPW open for Gaga a few years ago and I searched for other info on them too, back then. I was not blown away by their performance at the Monster Ball (Scissor Sisters opened when the tour returned to Phoenix and I liked them better). Justin does embrace that glam rocker gender bending vibe that Adam started out with. He did a sort of strip tease during one of the songs, he does love the outrageous. I must say Justin looks way better in the photo that was posted with Adam than what I have seen in previous photos! Adam makes everyone look better and kind of hot! I was impressed with his educational background and his creative abilities although did not care for the use of guns in his jewelry. I found an interview where he talked about having Lady Gaga open for SPW when they performed in NYC clubs in 2007! It seems like he and Adam do have a lot in common.
Did I see somewhere mentioned that they are working together on A3 music?
Darn it, I just want me some more Adam Lambert music!

Looks like a duet with Lea! ** OT but on the ice ice lanterns --- I did not know they were from Norway-Finland but my family used to make them. We used big metal buckets for the outside and a smaller plastic container inside to make the space for the candle. When it was frozen, we filled the small container with warm water and then pulled it out. |
