Cassie: In the Impromptu, the note at 0:57 -0:59 is significantly higher. G5, is what my online piano here tells me. Maybe flat, but certainly sustained, lol. Yup. And at 1:41 a Bb5! All the high notes in the Impromptu are falsetto which is produced much differently from full-voice, but it is still impressive. (Some people have said it is whistle register, but it does not sound it to me.) You will find whistle register in other songs -- throughout the 70's and 80's. Sometimes it sounds like it is a guitar or something electronic. There also is some interesting video of two concerts in 1974 -- one shot by the band and one shot by a pro-crew. A: nobody was comparing in the recent pages, so I have no idea who you are complaining about, or are you complaining about posts from earlier today?
B: We were specifically told by moderators that this topic is ok for the day...
C: Instead of all folks from here moving to another thread, maybe, if you don't like music discussion, perhaps you could read a different thread....I'm sure tomorrow it is about fashion, or GBs or LA apartment rental market or something else.....maybe even photography. There were some great photos in the recent pages too.

I like a winter's tale....I like music discussion, I loved today's thread....but I can take a hint....so good nite for now. It's bed time anyhow. We'll see what the topic is by the time I get back online.
