That's the hardest decision about the film. I think in the end Freddie's voice is so unique that you'd HAVE to use his voice. I far prefer to get the acting right than get an actor who can sing - so that only strengthens my thoughts on using Freddie's vocals. Hell, maybe they'll use an alternate take or two  |

That's the hardest decision about the film. I think in the end Freddie's voice is so unique that you'd HAVE to use his voice. I far prefer to get the acting right than get an actor who can sing - so that only strengthens my thoughts on using Freddie's vocals. Hell, maybe they'll use an alternate take or two ![]() I would hope they get a great actor and use Freddie's voice. Are they thinking of NOT doing that???? - I know, I know, we probably have a very little idea of what they are planning. I do remember Brian saying he wants a strong actor in the role, but did he or RT ever comment on the singing? |

Apart from the general awsomeness of this Q&A, did you notice how naturally they passed the mic back and forth? Sooooo nice to see him at ease like that. And wearing BlackAndYellow's armbands, I have those too :-D |

They have basically named Ben Whishaw as Freddie without actually full on confirming. |
