I do not think Adam's suit was a hint that he will be signed by CherryTree Records -- but if that happens, then I will crown him "King of Clues"!! I think it is just a hot-trend suit. I will be pleased when Adam announces his new deal -- no matter who it is with. But I hope it is not CherryTree Records -- their big strength is artist discovery, not promotion or artist development. And from what I can find out about the co-founder and main creative force behind CherryTree Records, Martin Kierszenbaum, it does not seem like the right fit for Adam. (I do not know much about Kierszenbaum - just what is written about him - so I may be off base on this one.) HOWEVER, CTR would be much better than RCA 2012. Here is an interesting article from Billboard.biz www.billboard.com/biz/articles/news/1084987/martin-kierszenbaum-cherrytree-part-ways-with-interscope-confirmed

What buttons? All I can see is ginger hair and freckles on that hand! Spotted them yet Cassie? Down the left-hand edge of the picture. Jacket buttons, dark blue, two showing, two undone . What jacket? I have been falling in love with ginger and freckles Adam for a while now. And with Adam's hands. He's got a great manicurist. So, combine them all and I have trouble seeing other things in a photo. Perhaps I am just a masochist. My fantasies about Adam are unattainable. Adam singing opera--- with Angelina. Adam doing an in-depth interview about his voice, his technique, his approach to singing and interpretation. Adam doing a cabaret night with Michael Orland. Adam singing jazz standards. Adam singing "Bring Him Home" from Les Miz. And, Adam letting his natural ginger show. (I'm not sure I would like it forever, but, as a change, I think it would be charming.)

Here is something interesting to think about. Adam always tries to challenge and get a reaction. "Art attracts us only by what it reveals of our most secret self." - Jean-Luc Godard That is an interesting quote. When I first saw Adams outfit, I saw chaos and when showing it to DH he saw the same thing. I don't like prints, don't wear prints and don't decorate with prints. Well I have a zepra print pillow in muted colors and a couple of striped blouses but that is it. As we got clearer and closer pics I began to see the pattern and could appreciate it. I think imo I sometimes forget Adam does not live in my world and what would be outre is in his world high fashion. Comparing him to others last night he was definately the trendsetter and in such a way that anyone who copies him will not look as well turned out. Can't see that outfit on anyone else that would be able to carry the look. In looking at the cut I think some of the first comments about fit came from the fact the pants material was little stiff and the length was shorter than what he usually wears. That and the new cut of the jacket. I got up in the middle of the night to hopefully hear WWFM video and was not disappointed, whata fandom. I, like some of you, was thinking not that oldie! It was magnificent. Soon as I see someone say this is the best, download I will. Can't even tell you how many versions I have at this point!

On what Adam will wear next -- I do not see any way to guess. The Fontainbleau outfit seemed kind of random -- particularly after it was moved into the Club. I think it was his performing on the beach casual look. But I think it is his first ripped jeans/flannel shirt/black leather punk-grunge stage outfit vs. flying "in disguise" outfit.
NYE - could be all black or rainbows!

So, this is me: Blech, no, WWFM again?!!?? Whyyyyyy???? He could have sung ANYTHING!!!! Oh, but it sounds sensational. That was a amazing performance! I'm so glad we have this recording now. Ugh, I hate that suit, hate his hair, hate Melvin, hate the buttoned up shirt, hate the shoes…there is nothing I like about this look at all. But I love that wonderful anticipation for whatever it is Adam is going to surprise us with, and I love his fashion forward fearlessness! Bravo! I’m a little conflicted, lol. (Seriously though, this is one occasion where I wish he’d spent a little less time choosing his outfit and a little more time rehearsing a different song. But it turned out beautifully, Adam didn’t ask me anyway, and it’s not like I was actually there, so I’ll shut up now. ) PS And the rehearsal pictures are gorgeous, so I can always comfort myself with those! /entitled. I'm sorry.

Ok this picture is stunning.
I keep coming back to that this pattern isn't SCALED right for red carpet photos. Its so perfect at the micro level and it just doesn't work well at the macro level. Maybe if the same pattern went down to tree trunks, or at least larger branches, as it moved downwards it would work better. Then we would get the beautiful close up detail and something that looked intentionally artistic versus splatter painted from a distance.
Ergo my adoration/eyeroll with the exact same outfit.

Ha! When I see the open buttonholes I just think MONEY! Only the best suits that are tailored have cut buttonholes.

Just chiming in to say that Adam's vocals were beautiful last night. My wish for his career is to work with quality musicians like Michael Orland; with Michael on piano Adam's voice is magical. The quality of the instrumentalists is so vital. I dont' think Brian really knows how to play the piano, hate the keytar. Do you guys remember when Adam performed with Zac from Korn? He was an excellent pianist and I loved when he accompanied Adam. Kathy Griffin is so funny, she really loves Adam. For anyone there last night was Adam's reception from the crowd after his performance as strong as the others? Zac is my favorite. I have always felt his arrangements of FYE were what made them so successful live and part of what was missing from Trespassing. This is one of my favorite zac performances. Romulan Adam on Leno. He looked so normal amongst this crazy bunch. Sleepwalker is so good live. Why was this not a single? v.youku.com/v_show/id_XMTU1NzEyMzIw.htmlv.youku.com/v_show/id_XMTU1NzEyMzIw.htmlnote: I couldn't find a youtube version of this. I totally concur. Zac was genius at sound moods, and could/did do things artistically with Adam that no other band member has ever done. Plus he just seemed to mesh so well.
I was actually pretty upset when he had to leave and go back to Korn. IMO no one else Adam has ever had came close to Zac's capabilities.

Wasn't it Zac who pretty much set the band's mood for the first mind-blowing performance of WLL at Fantasy Springs ?? It was something that was so in keeping with Adam's vision/performance but could have gone so wrong.........or am I?
