NOt a big deal...but... What am I missing here? Maybe it is just a confusing conversation due to misperceptions as to what each other is saying. Maybe I need more pumpkin spice latte! Maybe Shoshanna did not get---- that this gal is suggesting someone do a cover of Adam's song (The Map). Is that what happened? Only positive for a cover of his song would be the writing residuals.Yeah they said it's a great song but someone should cover it and release it as a single cause Adam didn't release his version. Meanwhile Shosh seemed to interpret that as "what a great song, he should record it"?????? And it is not on the US CD!! |

Family Kingdom Amusement Park is closed but had tons of workman roaming the roller coaster tracks, painting everything, and obviously working on the Ferris Wheel cars since they are no where to be seen on the structure. It's a tiny park, but very classic. Picture didn't show up for me. I got the "server can't be found" message. Was the movie good? I'm a sucker for Christmas movies but I did think this one was about NAL's Conway. I swear that's not why I didn't watch it. ![]()  The show's a real tearjerker, but I watched it because I know all the locations in it. Last winter I had a winter rental across street from the ocean just a few blocks from Family Kingdom, so drove by most days. Otherwise, I may not have watched it. Andy Garcia is pretty active in Cuban community and for Cuban causes in Miami, so I was interested to see his take on being a Southerner. It was a little strange, kind of like Nicolas Cage in Peggy Sue Got Married. Hard to get past the voice. Okay, back to Adam videos. I listened to a pre Idol CD of mine in car today and it always blows me away that he was unknown and singing to 100 people just weeks before shocking us with his talent on Idol. I can't imagine his frustration and (I would think) despair at not being able to get someone to take a chance on him. But, baby, look at him now!!!!!! |
