Yeah, wouldn't that be absolutely perfect?? I don't Glee ever does unreleased songs, though. Umm, BO is released on FYE??? Unreleased as a single for commercial radio play.

*** My guess is 10 dates, enough to support some real production vs. the relatively low production values they did for the 2012 shows. "What does it mean to BE Queen?" To most Queen fans, that means some production. Not a Gaga extravaganza but a theatrical event. More than lights and fog and a couple lasers. Possibly. I'm not sure the set would be THAT different from Hammersmith unless the venues are much bigger which I doubt. Adam can fill larger theaters [3,000 - 5,000 seats] without Queen. [Hammersmith was GA so around 5,000.] So if they are doing this, and it appears they are, I around 10,000 seats is the right size. If they pick the right markets -- Philadelphia, Miami, Detroit-Toronto, Montreal, etc. they should be able to sell 80% of arenas. When it comes to production values, I guess I am hoping for something more like the late 70's US tour. [not back-up singers or dances, but technical and stage effects].

Carina @_ninni Protected Tweets 12m Lea Michele: "I know that me and Adam have a really exciting story line coming up." on.mtv.com/Jkq8SC via @mtvnews Carina @_ninni Protected Tweets 13m "Elliott and Rachel become really good friends" Susie Fierce SusieFierce 13m ! RT @14gelly: " It is [juicy]," she said. "I read the scripts and I was like 'Oh my god.' "" 'Frenemies' and 'Trio www.mtv.com/news/articles/1719011/lea-michele-warns-glee-fans-big-santana-rachel-shocker.jhtml?utm=share_twitter … --------------- From the links above (they both go to the same place): "Glee" is pulling out all the stops come February. At least that's what star Lea Michele promises viewers. "You guys have no idea," she told MTV News, sharing that she recently filmed a scene with guest star Adam Lambert that featured the twosome dueting on an "awesome" song. "It's so exciting. [Ryan Murphy] calls me every day and gives me all the scoop." Luckily, Michele spilled some of that scoop, dishing out what fans will see when the Fox series returns from hiatus on February 25. "I know that me and Adam have a really exciting story line coming up. [Lambert's] Elliott and [my character] Rachel become really good friends," she said. "And there's a big Santana and Rachel shocker coming out in February." And, the titles of the upcoming episodes probably reveal a bit more of what fans will see in 2014. "I think that the next two episodes coming up, I think they're called 'Frenemies' and 'Trio,' are my two favorite episodes that we've done so far this season. I haven't seen them yet, but they were the most fun to shoot. So I can't wait for you guys to see what's gonna happen. It is [juicy]," she said. "I read the scripts and I was like 'Oh my god.' "
-------------------------- So what do you think? Will Rachel & Elliot become more than friends???
Ohh my.. what if Rachel and Elliot's dating.. and what if there's a shot where Elliot's kissing Rachel . The world's going to EXPLODE!!!!

I've been off the grid a few days and am just trying to catch up with the threads. Yay! Brian spilled the beans!! So have we put to rest the possibility of a Queen plus AL appearance at the Grammy's? I mean last year Fun and Queen were going to perform. Now I'm presuming that Fun had been asked to perform their own music so they couldn't just turn around and invite another group to perform with them, so Queen must have had an invite too. Were Queen going to be honored with a lifetime achievement award that had to be turned down because of Brian's knee? So wouldn't that award be held for a year when they could make an appearance? FUN is not nominated this year. They have not announced the performers yet but I doubt they will be selected. Nate Ruess is nominated as a songwriter. And they won Best New Artist last year, so they are likely to be there. > FUN performed their own song last year, "Carry On". The third of their three hit singles. It peaked at #20. They now need to come up with a new album and another hit song. 3. SONG OF THE YEAR Just Give Me A Reason Jeff Bhasker, Pink & Nate Ruess, songwriters (Pink Featuring Nate Ruess) Track from: The Truth About Love Label: RCA Records; Publishers: EMI Blackwood Music, Inc./P!nk Inside Publishing/Way Above Music/Sony/ATV Songs LLC/WB Music Corp./FBR Music/Bearvon Music It would be nice if Queen got a Grammy Lifetime Achievement award but they remain on the list of never got a Grammy nomination or award artists. This year's winners --- The Beatles, Armando Manzanero, Clifton Chenier, The Isley Brothers, Kraftwerk, Kris Kristofferson and Maud Powell have all been tapped to revive Grammy Lifetime Achievement Awards early next year. Rick Hall, Jim Marshall and Ennio Morricone will receive the Trustees Award; and Emile Berliner and Lexicon will receive Technical Grammy Awards. ** I cannot figure out why Queen would be at the Grammy's this year but anything is possible. But seems very unlikely.

Do you think NY Metropolitan area will not support an arena? Or at least a Radio City Hall type venue (around 6-7K)? Given EU folks can easily fly in...

The best I can find out is that the string of Queen + Adam Lambert willinclude North America and almost certainly something in Asia -- maybe Tokyo. But more than the US is in play. (I got this from a source close to the Brian and Roger who should know but it is NOT confirmed info.) *** My guess is 10 dates, enough to support some real production vs. the relatively low production values they did for the 2012 shows. *** Shoshanna's tweets are interesting today, but nothing to do with Adam beyond her RT of the Glee BTS video. "What does it mean to BE Queen?" To most Queen fans, that means some production. Not a Gaga extravaganza but a theatrical event. More than lights and fog and a couple lasers.
Since Adam has a concert in China.. is it possible that Queen will try to do a tour in Shanghai.. maybe??

Re Queenbert. Better to sell out a medium venue than have a half empty big one. Better experience all around. Recent Leonard Cohen show I was at had been moved to theatre from larger arena. Was a much better experience for everyone because of it. Performers get full house adoration and energy. Audiences gets vicarious thrill of being one of the "lucky ones" to get a seat. Win win for all.
Nokia; Radio City; etc etc (not a venue expert for US)... Miami or Atlanta; NY; Chicago; LA; Seattle; Las Vegas... that should do it for coverage :-)
