Adam can fill larger theaters [3,000 - 5,000 seats] without Queen. [Hammersmith was GA so around 5,000.] So if they are doing this, and it appears they are, I around 10,000 seats is the right size. If they pick the right markets -- Philadelphia, Miami, Detroit-Toronto, Montreal, etc. they should be able to sell 80% of arenas. When it comes to production values, I guess I am hoping for something more like the late 70's US tour. [not back-up singers or dances, but technical and stage effects]. why not NYC? Do you think NY Metropolitan area will not support an arena? Or at least a Radio City Hall type venue (around 6-7K)? Given EU folks can easily fly in...  From your lips, etc., etc........  |

please take pity on me and explain what this means... I saw she is coming out with videos for all the songs on her album - unless I misunderstood ( as I my attention span dealing with anyone but Adam is close to none...) |

Won't quote the picture. But I find it somehow deeply disturbing. That a 19 year old girl thinks she has to look like that and pose like that to get approval and praise and attention. I find it disgusting and offensive as a woman. And I am not usually the militant type. I don't know how Adam was not creeped out to pose with her. Ewwwwwww. I'll write something in favor of treating her in the spirit of the Trevor project. Adam doesn't get creeped out by much of anything other than people trying to put other people in boxes. Like an anorexic her body image is probably flawed but like many many people she might just like herself this way. It's more permanent than the costumes that Adam likes but not much different than tatoos. I do think that her history and upbringing means that she doesn't know who she is, has had no guidance in finding her real self, and is as lost of a soul as anyone else that the Trevor project was created to help. |

The best I can find out is that the string of Queen + Adam Lambert willinclude North America and almost certainly something in Asia -- maybe Tokyo. But more than the US is in play. (I got this from a source close to the Brian and Roger who should know but it is NOT confirmed info.) *** My guess is 10 dates, enough to support some real production vs. the relatively low production values they did for the 2012 shows. *** Shoshanna's tweets are interesting today, but nothing to do with Adam beyond her RT of the Glee BTS video. "What does it mean to BE Queen?" To most Queen fans, that means some production. Not a Gaga extravaganza but a theatrical event. More than lights and fog and a couple lasers.
Since Adam has a concert in China.. is it possible that Queen will try to do a tour in Shanghai.. maybe??
For Queen, Asia means Japan. Unless I am having a brain freeze, they have never played a concert as Queen or Q+PR in Asia outside of Japan. [It is really cold here today, so if I forgot an Asian country, I apologize.] But since Adam is so popular and well known in Shanghai, it could be possible and certainly would be lucrative. ** My guess is they only go places where they have a great deal on the table, solid promoter, big guarantee. And it is not actually clear that this is a mini-tour although a "string" seems bigger than a handful to me. My money is on Las Vegas, Miami, Detroit-Toronto, Montreal, North NJ (metro NY) or Philadelphia, Atlanta, somewhere in SoCal, nowhere in the Pacific Northwest. Plus Tokyo/Japan (3 shows). That is 10. |
