I like the idea of Lea and Adam being linked in people's minds because she has such a blockbuster voice and I want people to think of casting them together in other stuff as well.
You see, Lea is not my favorite voice or performer, so whether or not they get linked together for future work doesn't really make me shiver in anticipation. However, I do appreciate how many people really love her. And she definitely*is* a good singer. I saw her in Spring Awakening and have loved her ever since. I know she's not everyone's cup of tea but she clearly adores him. She talks up him and his voice a lot, too. It's all good.

Um....is anyone else thinking "Whoa Nelly!" and having a desperate urge to offer her (?) some solid shelf support?

I think it is win-win for Adam anytime he is linked favorably with someone who is popular and has a large fanbase. I think this linkage is great! And I love.love.love QAL. I think that's another win-win for Adam and a huge feather in his career cap. And I would give my eye teeth and my firstborn to attend one of those amazing concerts.

Not repeating that WOWIE pic but wowie. And totally wasted on Adam. He doesn't even have to try hard not to look. No interest, except perhaps as a wardrobe malfunction waiting to happen.

ETA: WTH? Some of the smilies post and some don't! Yeah - Q3 said she was gonna try to fix them this weekend. No idea what the problem is. The rest of us mods are useless at ProBoards code, so we just have to wait until Q3 has a chance to wrestle with it. #corruptcodetimesuck

Is the conventional wisdom North American dates only? 5 to 10 North America would be wonderful. There is no conventional wisdom when it comes to Queen BUT with that being said, I would believe it would be North American-centric. Queen seems to have 3 areas of touring: 1. UK/Europe 2. North America (which also includes for some reason, Japan) 3. South America/Other. So I'd bet on US/Canada and a few Japanese dates. If it's bigger they might hit South America. *** My guess is 10 dates, enough to support some real production vs. the relatively low production values they did for the 2012 shows. "What does it mean to BE Queen?" To most Queen fans, that means some production. Not a Gaga extravaganza but a theatrical event. More than lights and fog and a couple lasers. Possibly. I'm not sure the set would be THAT different from Hammersmith unless the venues are much bigger which I doubt. I'm with you on this. If I'm seeing Queen, I personally am not the least bit interested in my concert time being taken up by extra lights and backup dancers. I want to see and hear QUEEN. I really wouldn't worry about this at all. Brian has been enjoying stripping in back anyways. The only time Queen had backing vocalists was two occasions. The Freddie Mercury Tribute Concert and the gig in Amsterdam when they really were winging it with different guest vocalists, etc. I would HIGHLY doubt we see any backing vocalists. The only difference in band from Hammersmith that you MIGHT see would be if Brian decided to bring Jamie Moses along as a rhythm guitarist. Honestly, my only hope on the tour is for them to shake up the setlist a bit. See Queen *IS* a bit stuck in the past where the internet was not bringing you vids/complete concerts from every set up...so they probably think that to the US fans/etc. the Hammersmith show *IS* new. They did switch it up a tiny bit during QPR when they toured Europe vs the US so hopefully the same. On the same hand, I hope Brian keeps his "song of the day" acoustic bit he did when each date he did something a bit different with the audience.
