I'm so mixed up. Can someone tell me the diff. Between a username and forum acct. name......? And how would I find out what I used for a username, it keeps asking me if I want to change my password. Help!

Help! The two names are not necessarily the same. For example, my posting name on ATOP is "HoppersSkippersMiners". However, my ProBoards login is "HoppersSkippersMin" since the server can only process up to 18 characters. Which means that my email here is also "HoppersSkippersMin" (which used to cause all sorts of havoc when people used to try to PM me before the latest upgrade). Periodically, members will change their posting names away from their login name. This happens most frequently when people sign up with some lame temporary name and then realize they're stuck with it, so they then switch their posting name to something they like better for long-term use. The mods can see both names. Both your posting name and login name appear to be the same, so I don't think you need to worry about differentiating between the two. Not sure why the system is asking you to change your password. If it keeps happening, I'd recommend PM'ing Q3 since, as administrator, she has additional troubleshooting tools at her disposal. |

... "What does it mean to BE Queen?" ... The only difference in band from Hammersmith that you MIGHT see would be if Brian decided to bring Jamie Moses along as a rhythm guitarist. I find this last statement interesting because it ties into a thought I had about the first statement. Someone (I'm sorry, I forget who) thought they should rename the band Queen Two and I wondered since they had brought Adam in and Tiger in, if there was any thought to bringing in an apprentice guitarist so that during the course of a concert a younger generation could be selectively showcased. Now Jamie Moses could be 90 for all I know, still you gave a name to my thought. However, it might be an interesting way to introduce new songs perhaps from the archive or even currently written by Brian, Roger, Adam, Tiger or imaginary apprentice guitarist. Just random musings I briefly played with in my mind. |
