My sleeping mind was working overtime last night and came up with a cool idea for a fundraiser involving Adam. It was a special "dinner." The menu was 65 songs or versions of songs that Adam has performed (e.g. rock WLL and acoustic blues WLL). Each menu item was $10,000. Adam was the waiter, coming to each table to personally take the order for one or more songs while chatting and being generally charming. The plan was that, with each table ordering a song, or two, and with many being duplicates of favorite songs, Adam would end up with a 1.5 to 2 hour set of 20 songs. (At $10,000 per order, not per song, a popular choice like "Mad World" by itself could earn $100,000 for 10 orders.) However, the organizers did not understand the passion of Adam's fans. One (probably the doc from Alaska) ordered the entire menu of 65 songs, and Adam was obliged to sing them all! That night. On the spot. Sadly, I woke up before I could hear the resulting concert. But, not a bad idea, right? I love this! And it would work! Throw in an auction, some sponsors, TV rights, etc. And it could raise $300K. *** I would just add $50,000 for Adam to sing any song -- pre-ordered, based on approval by the artist.  Nice dream. |

Should I get my hopes up for Q+AL in London again?
Please, please let this happen....and at the Apollo again (I think it has a new name now) - the most perfect venue. They know they can fill it several times over....
I know one arena show is probably more lucrative and less work than a couple of smaller shows but the Apollo has to be the best audience experience ever.
Getting carried away with venues when there is no talk of a UK show...yet....
I think we will know more next week. We really know so little -- just that it is a string of live dates for QAL. Brian did not even say "concerts" although I can't figure out what else that phrase means. He did not say tour -- so I think whatever this is, the scope will be limited. [Plus, I do not think Adam would sign up for an extensive Queen tour.] I think it will be several special dates. |

ok.. that's the second picture with that spotted thing on his coat jacket lapel.. what is that?? I think it is the gloved hand of the person standing next to him. Hand on shoulder. |

He called the last tour a string of dates also. It also might mean a mini tour plus a special appearance or two (at an iheart type event) |
