This sounds like fun! Tickets are only $15. Yes, I'm so jealous of our LA Atoppers! I met Ty in Atlanta a couple of years ago when VT was opening for The Parlotones. I talked with him for a bit...he seems like a really sweet guy.

I was asleep when this was announced & it was Sold Out by the time I saw the tweets. In the midst of my despair, I got a text from the AMAZEBALLS @funknnsoul saying she got tickets for her, Susie and I!!!!! OMG!!!! Yay !!!! I was afraid you were still asleep. So glad that she got you a ticket! This would be a fun event even if Adam weren't singing. So happy you'll get to go!  |

This is sort of like Adam coming out. Was he ever in? Glad he finally talked about it. ** OT: I wonder if Janet Napolitano will come out now -- if she is gay which I believe she is? She is from Arizona which has historically been very tolerant of gay politicians -- although at least one other major politician I know in Arizona has never been public about it. [This is long rumored but never confirmed.] Former US Rep. Jim Kolbe came out in 1996 -- and was reelected until he retired in 2006. He is from a pretty "progressive" part of Arizona that flipped to the democrats. Kolbe has since married his partner. |
