The first time I saw Adam sing Ring of Fire I was stunned by his voice. I kept playing it over and over (I had to shut my eyes so I wouldn't be distracted by Adam). My son finally said if I liked it so much why didn't I download it from Itunes. So I said "What's Itunes." I have since purchased every performance and every recording of Adam's. LOL I went deep down the rabbit hole.

OT: Tessanne Chin, who won The Voice last night, was on The Tonight Show last night and one of her backup singers was Allison Iraheta. That just makes me sad. Alison's far too good to be just a back up singer. I'm sure Allison would love to be up front, but it's exposure, experience, and a paycheck. Adam was a chorus boy for a long time.

The Apollo that collapsed is in near Picadilly Circus, the Apollo Hammersmith is across town.

Cassie, I think, this is a different theater. Hammersmith is not right next to Picadilly Circle, and the Hammersmith Apollo Theater holds about 3000+, whereas this theater seems to have been almost at capacity at 775. Still a horrible thing to happen, of course. This was a ceiling, so nobody can be prepared for anything like that, but I often wonder about balconies in theaters, especially when the show is sold out, people are jumping or dancing or stomping, and are at times moving towards the front of the balcony to have an unobstructed view. I often worry that one day something is going to happen. In this case, London is very lucky, that they don't have tons of deaths. Re Allison: I wish she and her husband could sustain themselves and their band, without a day job, but I guess, they cannot. They will have to treat it as a hobby / side income, I guess. Yes, Allison is very talented, and I wish her and her husband well. Thank you for posting this RoF version from The Sing Off. I have to say, I loved that version. Also very creative. And nice article. www.buddytv.com/articles/the-sing-off/ring-of-fire-battle-american-i-52169.aspx

Alison's far too good to be just a back up singer. I like Alison's voice ,but I can't understand one word that she sings. I saw her in person and I just gave up after a while.I'm sure she enunciates better now.. but I found the experience frustrating.

Watched The Sing-Off last night.
Home Free is a talented and smart group.
Their sing-off with The Filharmonics was very good.
Home Free made fun of their country roots and pulled a good performance from the younger group.
I think they saved The Filharmonics last night.
Reminded me of how generous Adam is with his singing partners.
I don't think either of Home Free's lead singers can be compared favorably to Adam, but I think they're good enough to win.

Thanks for bringing the link over. Love, love, love...
Celebrities And Their Cartoon WraithThe greatest stars of today were children too. We wonder if they knew once they grow up and will look like the childhood favourite cartoon figure? We collected ten celebrities who eerily similar are to a certoon figure. Adam LambertIf we are already at Hayley and Ariel, we have to talk about the greatest Paramore fan of the celebrities, who looks like the lover of the little Mermaid, Eric. We don’t know if Adam realized this similarity or not, fans spotted it for sure.
