That just makes me sad.  Alison's far too good to be just a back up singer. I agree that I wish Alison could make it as a soloist. But I also wish that great back-up singers would get more credit. Many great vocalists are backup singers -- This gives me a chance to recommend a great documentary film "20 Feet From Stardom" (2013) twentyfeetfromstardom.com/ anyone who loves music and vocalist must see this film. Trust me on this one. THAT! |

That just makes me sad. Alison's far too good to be just a back up singer. I like Alison's voice ,but I can't understand one word that she sings. I saw her in person and I just gave up after a while.I'm sure she enunciates better now.. but I found the experience frustrating. Me either:( -- in the mv where she is wearing the white, sparkly flapper dress the song she is singing is pretty clear. I went on to listen to music from one of her live performances and it was back to not understandable and not in a good way (to my ear). |
