Thanks so much for the birthday wishes. Post rarely, but lurk daily. Always feels like home. The cakes look fantastic Reihmer. I look forward to them every year. Makes me feel special.

That's Carly Rae right? I've met her and she seems very sweet so …… I'll just say lucky girl! Carly Rae is from Mission BC and my nephew's hockey team in Abbotsford BC played her song in the locker room every day in the locker room 2 seasons ago. My nephew was shocked at her age when I told him...he though she was 18. Call Me Maybe put her in the 200 plus million dollar range...highest grossing female artist. (mucho thanks to Bieber and manager) One song can really turn an artist's life around. I just watched parts of the TV special, Canadian Walk of Fame program, and saw her performing. I liked her on Canadian Idol..but last night, she had a low key performance...not exactly stellar....she is lucky in more ways than one! Studio recordings can make a singer and a song! And yes..she gets the luck of the draw sitting beside the one.... I will keep fanning.... the one I know who can sing live and with life! |
