4M's thanks for posting those reviews! And the Memphis concert was so great! Plus it was appropriately an Elvis hair concert!

I love rereading all of the newspaper reviews of the 2009 Idol concert. They almost all said the same thing, Adam was on fire.
Excuse me, as I go down the rabbit hole and watch a few WLL openings at various AI stops in 2009. Listening to the incremental increases of the crowds' cheers as Adam prepared to walk onto the stage, just fills me with JOY! Even now, 5 years later.

This is amazing! A federal judge just struck down Utah's anti-gay marriage amendment and same-sex couples are getting married even as we speak. The first couple to get married were State Senator Jim Dabakis and his long-time partner Stephen Justesen. Naturally, our stupid governor is whining that the judge overturned "the will of the people" because of course we should always allow the majority to decide what rights to extend to the minority, right? Let's put slavery up to a vote! There will be an appeal, but for now, same-sex couples are getting married in Utah. Utah! I grew up here and this is one of the few times I haven't been embarrassed by my state. Yay murly! This gives me hope. If Utah today, maybe someday this millenium, North Carolina... where are you , melliemom and zeldon? I'm in Asheville.,NC. a liberal oasis(little Paris) surrounded by a sea of conservative retroactivity .A governor who has cut spending for the poor and the middle class..Teachers salaries one of the lowest in the nation, unemployment benefits cut,Govt. against Obama healthcare, against equality for the LGBT Community, restricting voter rights..Billie Graham's son seemingly coming out for the Duck man. When we moved here from NY, then Fla. North Carolina was one of the more advanced southern states..Sorry for the tirade.. fellow Carolinian. I love Asheville our city has the best mayor and the best city council.. very progressive and for equality for all..but we have a huge fight on our hands to keep it that way. The state government is trying to bankrupt our town, first by taking control of our water. Better days are coming..
