Not likely with a suit that requires custom tailoring. Either he got it as a gift, or he paid for it. They may have offered a discount, who knows. But it certainly looks like that tweet is biz and not playtime. Now that 1800 USD bow - redic - I know, maybe that is a loan.
We will find out, whether we see the items again, won't we? In any case, Adam was looking superb! And I love to see him dressed up like this - at least every once in a while.

And my gut tells me, if Adam would have had a white suit and tie for that other all white affair, we would have seen pics from there too. I think, the Chinese scrambled things around, once they found out that he was wearing black the whole time. And he could have worn all white and then used those same platform shoes and it would have again made a statement of individuality, even in a sea of white. Isn't that the job of the personal manager, to inquire stuff like that out ahead of time?

Now that whole Bond thing, is for me also just a "he looks as snazzy as Bond, all dressed up, and obviously his good looks make it amazingly real, but that is where it ends. I have no wish seeing Adam in acting roles that go into stunt territory, play macho, even if it is tongue in cheek, just like I don't see Adam do major character acting, he has too much own persona and talent to bring to the game. What Glee is doing, is exactly right as a first step. Adam has so much variety in his performance style, that you can tie into what is naturally there. Glee is a first stepping stone, because right now, the character was really created around him. In a next step, he could do an acting role that steps a bit further away from Adam himself, but is still within the realm of what Adam stands for. And then next steps can follow.

The issue, Adam has, is that if he is given a side role, he might outshine the main character, just like he is right now with Kurt, who has trouble shining next to Starchild/Elliot. And he is the star of the show normally, without Adam next to him.

So, a side role may be challenging, but a main character maybe a bit much to take on immediately. In the end, I think, he will get a lead role some day. I do see it happening, because he is clearly working on his acting, and he does have the looks, the dynamic personality, and the camera loves him. What role that is, we will see. Imo, Adam would play a love interest splendidly. Even a more assertive Don Juan like role could become a character with some depth to it, if he gets to play it, but will somebody take a chance on him? Probably not right away, but with a few more years of acting under his belt, maybe yes. And just a few months ago, it would have seemed insane to write that, it does not anymore. What a change a little bit of Glee can make.
