I haven't done too much with the healthy eating this week. When I say that, I don't necessarily mean I eat food that is all that bad, but I haven't put any effort into shopping for fresh produce or taking on the creative challenge of finding healthy recipes and putting together meals from scratch.
Anyway, I have done well on exercise! I went to aerobics once and have been walking. I am ready to work on milestone 10 of 12 on the Texercise fitness walking. This will be to walk two miles in 34 minutes.
I am very hopeful at this point that I will make my goal of getting to the 12th milestone by middle/late May, when it starts to get really hot here and I will have to change up my exercise routine. It would be really nice to go into the summer months feeling fit even if I don't *look* any different.

It's been a mixed week for me but down almost 1lb.
Found a new entree, baked breaded eggplant, with (or without) spaghetti sauce and cheese toppings/dippers. Even my daughters liked it and when I add spaghetti to the meal it covered everyone. No small feat when you have dieters, vegetarians, picky kids, and one with various food restrictions.
Revelation of the week-every two Tbsp of hummus equals 80 calories! Yikes, I have been scarfing the stuff!

Ok, so I managed to lose .2 pounds....not much for sure, but at least I didn't gain considering I had one of my 'eating' days this week. Enjoy the rest of your weekend everyone!

Well, I stayed the same, which isn't too bad since I've been struggling with overeating all week. Still not doing much exercise because of knee problems. Hanging in there!!!

I am more alive than ever after Glee! LOL.
Not much to report. This was the first week since I started my own business that I was really busy, not with prospecting but with work. And, I goofed off both with exercise and with healthy eating. This week is more slow. Main thing is I realized that will be something to watch out for -- not taking the time to eat right or go for a walk. I did make it to aerobics twice. Working on getting my two miles down to 34 minutes.
SO EXCITED ABOUT ADAM AND QUEEN!

Hi everyone! And CONGRATS to Rihannsu on the 50 lbs! You go girl!
Missed checking in for 2 weeks due to meetings out of town and family visit, where the eating plan was completely off the rails and walking was non-existent. Considering all that I'm very relieved I only gained 1 lb since my last weigh in on Feb. 12. I'm having a bit of a hard time to get back on track. Scaled back on the distance I'm walking just a little for this week, as I missed so much walking in the last few weeks. Hope to be back to doing the full 6+ km next week. It's amazing how quickly you lose that form and fitness level. Hopefully I can get a walk in today. It was raining hard earlier but does look like it's getting brighter out there.
Great to see people hanging in and having success with their goals. Checking in here weekly has been a great motivator for me over this past year in losing the 50 lbs that I did, and now hopefully to get me the rest of the way to my goal!
(Haven't seen Glee yet, but loved reading last night's new thread anyway! And QAL news this week too! Woo hoo!)

Hi guys. Well to be honest, I have lost track of the numbers. I seem to go up and down during the week and I forgot where I was a week ago. Bottom line is I am feeling good about how it is going. Although I had sundaes and pizza twice this week I still think I did ok. The trick for me is going to be making this a long term lifestyle. I seem to have no control once I let myself relax.
Food find of the week-spaghetti squash. I have never liked it with tomato sauces because it just isn't the same as pasta to me BUT I made it with stirfry veggies and an asian peanut sauce and loved it. For some reason the crunchiness seemed to fit better in this style and the complexities of asian sauces being a little sweet, a little spicy, salty etc made the taste of the squash blend right in. I ate a huge serving and, other than the sauce, it was all veggies!
Keep on keeping on everyone!
