I'm just curious why the hi-rollers bothered to put the glow sticks around their necks.....to hang themselves?

Re the pics of highrollers, it is interesting to see glow rings and they perhaps are not familiar with adam's music, but still I would not be happy to see my pic up on some fan site and have people laughing at it. this seems really rude to me. these pics are in several places/sites now.

The 'high rollers' expressions look pretty much like the expressions on the 'real fans' faces. These appear to be prior to the concert starting, Are you saying none of the seated people became more engaged during the concert? I'm pretty sure those photos were taken before the concert even began. No one was in the front, looking back upon the first 3 rows and photographing them once the party started! I was just behind and to the side (thankfully, out of the picture!) of the seated elderly man. When Adam gestured to him, his daughter/girlfriend/wife (?) leaned over and flailingly hugged him - appearing ecstatic that Adam noticed! I didn't pay attention to the three rows in front - I felt selfishly thankful that the women in the two seats in front of me sat and didn't block my view; and next to them was a couple standing and dancing right along with us. Sitting or standing - it felt like absolutely everyone was into the concert! BTW - looked like most of the M&Gs were to folks who occupied those first three rows.

Thank you for your first hand response. Sounds like these folks appear to be getting judged harshly for no reason other than sport :-/ I remember now that you commented on the man and his daughter etc during the show. I can appreciate how uncomfortable that level of sound can be. Sweet that he was there with her.

So we have heard from Adam in a tweet and now he has been sighted in Brooklyn. So that makes that Ty party tomorrow in LA less and less likely. Still possible though.
Anyways, wanted to comment on that Ke$ha tweet. I think Ke$ha tried to find a compromise between that party girl image that is demanded of her and an a bit advanced sound, compared to last album, where everything sounded just like tic-toc. Clearly, she wants to move on and is not able to break away, like Adam could, which sucks for her.
TY, TY, TY to whoever made it possible for Adam to have the freedom to walk. I am utterly unclear how this works, but I sure am glad for the result.
I do hope that Ke$ha can whine her way out, which is pretty much what she seems to be trying, but yikes....those contracts that try to shackle artists, I don't know what the point is, but I sure can see the result.
Anyhow, Adam's 'fab direction' has two meanings: a) musical change is towards a good direction and b) video is directed well by Ke$ha. I think he phrased that excellently either way. Adam is so good with words.
I wish I could hear what Ke$ha really would want to do - without Dr Luke. And I wish I knew what Adam is doing in NY, because I doubt he is there for PH's entertainment.
ETA: Glampoon, thanks for posting that Billy Porter video, he is amazing. I have to admit, I had never listened to him, heard accolades, but had never checked him out. He has a video of Gethsemane out there, very soul leaning and quite different from Ted Neeley and even more so from Steve Balsamo. So, between Adam as Judas and Billy Porter as Jesus, you got my mental wheels spinning. Anyways, thanks for making me aware of him. He has indeed a head voice that has similarities to Adam. Wow.

I'll add my 2 cents about the high rollers pic (I'm slightly in that pic, on the edge you can see me holding my green iPad mini) - this may have been after the concert started because I sat until it began. The people in the first 3 rows that you can see did stand part of the time and sit part (except the elderly gentlemen who did not stand), the few right in front of me including the younger man were having a blast, and commented on how great the concert was after as we were walking out. The younger gentleman and his friend said something like "wow, how can one person be so attractive" lol! But they were into it and that young girl was already a fan I believe.
As momtomany said, those of us in row 4 were very lucky that many of those people sat, it gave us such a great view! It was one of my best Adam concerts for vocals, view, sound, company to share it with - and I've been to many.
