Excellent list. I had to go back and listen to Play That Funky Music. It's been a while, but I've got it on right now. I know why you chose the first three. Why this one? Not challenging, just curious since this is not one I think much of the fandom would think of. I think it's his best performance in OTT rocker mode. I can't think of any other performance where he just keeps nailing run after impossible run like that, it's like the vocal olympics. Plus it's quite uptempo unlike the other three. In retrospect though I think I'd add something that's isn't extreme in any sense. Like for example By the Rules is one of my favourites cause he uses less than an octave of his range (C4-Bb4) but still makes it an interesting vocal just with his dynamics, inflections, phrasing, etc. He hits a Bb5 in PTFM live, doesn't he? I thought maybe he also did that in the studio version and you chose it to show the extreme range.

maitospf - cropped out tommy but not sure what correct size is for avaitar. If someone else can help out that would be great. 4EverAdam - thank you so much - working on it . I have a smaller version but it looks too dark...so now I'm conflicted.

By The Rules! THE BEST SONG ON TP!!! (sorry, I love it so much I can't help but respond!) as far as incredible recordings "for conversion" purposes - Feeling Good studio version is incredible! Works with "mature" targets LMD works with the young'uns due to the "coolness" factor...

I think that the concert streams and videos are very useful for Adam because they help keep his fans energized and committed. Also I imagine that they bring some casual fans deeper into the fandom, and hence more willing to buy his music and see him live. On the other hand, knowing that a concert will be streamed or on youtube might give a person pause when deciding whether to fly to another city with all the expenses that entails. I don't know how Adam attendance was at Winstar, but I did check out Ticket Master, and in relation to the music concerts around his, he was doing pretty well in sales. The comedian did sell out.

No offense to Adam Lambert or his loyal fans, it's just part of my name Trish @trishbertnz 3m @steveglambert Might be easier to become a Glambert LOL ) We are a nice bunch LambertGlowbug @lambertglowbug1 1m @steveglambert Too funny! I'd love to read a play by play from you on AI People keep quoting the judges, I bet you where more fun Well thanks I probably shouldn't cause I have some opinions on some Idol performances that would get tomatoes thrown my way. {stuff}One live was poopoo except for that high note and I agree with Simon about Satisfaction awww.... How could I forget! Feeling Good is like his most complete performance. Alright then, instant conversion or your money back: 1. Feeling Good (studio) 2. WWTLF (iHeartRadio) 3. Play that Funky Music (studio) 4. Red House 5. By the Rules 6. CTMBTM I wouldn't say LMD is the best to convert to Adam the singer. If we were trying to convert people to Adam the pop-star then we'd need a whole different list!! He hits a Bb5 in PTFM live, doesn't he? I thought maybe he also did that in the studio version and you chose it to show the extreme range. A5 on the studio version (and G5s, F5s, E5s, D5s, etc.) - better sounding note than the live Bb5 tho

The Adam song that has made me cry? Broken Open. And Aftermath. Both of these songs have elicited uncontrollable sobbing. Cathartic. There was nothing on TSP that elicited those emotions for me. I think that is why I love FYE (tour edition) more....a song for every mood. But I do love TSP It has been forever since I listened to my "soothing playlist" on my ipod. Just played it this morning. When was the last time you listened to Sleepwalker? That song always does it for ME. The very first performance of OOL got real tears here (ETA: I just rewatched and cried again...) www.youtube.com/watch?v=8oJRuaH5FJ0I was there when Adam performed this song and his performance of OOL did not "make me cry" -- I just suddenly felt tears rolling down my checks. I had no idea what was coming when he debuted that song. ** There are other performances by Adam and others that have made me cry or brought tears to my eyes but nothing close to that one performance. ** There are a few live performances by Adam that I wished I had been part of -- but top of my list, and very likely to remain there is "Red House". I truly hope I get to hear that live someday. I do not try to convince people that Adam is a great singer, but I have introduced people to him via YTs. My list will now include both LMD Live and Red House. Nice to have two new live performances to add to the list.
