I think that to a lot of people, a great voice, a one in a billion voice is an operatic voice. Whenever I want to convince someone that Adam is a great singer I always include CTMBTM in the mix. It never fails to completely blow them away. 1. WWTLF (iHeartRadio) 2. Red House 3. CTMBTM 4. Play That Funky Music (studio) Guaranteed Glambert conversion playlist #realtalk Excellent list. I had to go back and listen to Play That Funky Music. It's been a while, but I've got it on right now. I know why you chose the first three. Why this one? Not challenging, just curious since this is not one I think much of the fandom would think of.

He would clean up on Dancing with the stars. I know, many of you don't want to see that. I don't want him to take that much time away from what he's doing, but I sure would love to see him do the choreography. Most of the men on the show have to learn to move like that--he does it naturally.

OT but I just had to post this pick. OMG! That's a Lighthouse under all that snow and ice! I need a big cup of hot chocolate with lots of whipped cream after looking at this pic!! The Adam song that has made me cry? Broken Open. And Aftermath. Both of these songs have elicited uncontrollable sobbing. Cathartic. There was nothing on TSP that elicited those emotions for me. I think that is why I love FYE (tour edition) more....a song for every mood. But I do love TSP It has been forever since I listened to my "soothing playlist" on my ipod. Just played it this morning. When was the last time you listened to Sleepwalker? That song always does it for ME. The very first performance of OOL got real tears here (ETA: I just rewatched and cried again...) www.youtube.com/watch?v=8oJRuaH5FJ0

Finally got home last night. 23 day road trip primarily to see Adam. In Oklahoma. Can't believe I was in Oklahoma for NYE. No knock to OK, my parents were from there but there is nothing else there much except the Casino. (as an old travel business person the casino service/management/training drove me crazy. The staff was trying but no training! Then there was the big ole bare stage they put our guy on. Were those crowd control barricades across the back of the stage?)
I have not heard the videos yet and of course want to download both sound for a cd and sight for a dvd so what is the consensus? Which are the best? So much to catch up on, yes unpacking can wait DH. (pause: Dh has been talked into going to grocery store! Peace and quiet while I catch up!!!!)

Seriously, wouldn't it be great if someone would make a coffee table collection of Adam Fan Art. There are so many incredible talented artists in this fandom including some Atopers! I don't know how hard it would be to get all the artists to allow their work to be included but I'd sure love to see a book done! I'll file that idea in my "I can dream folder, right?"

I think it's his best performance in OTT rocker mode. I can't think of any other performance where he just keeps nailing run after impossible run like that, it's like the vocal olympics. Plus it's quite uptempo unlike the other three. In retrospect though I think I'd add something that's isn't extreme in any sense. Like for example By the Rules is one of my favourites cause he uses less than an octave of his range (C4-Bb4) but still makes it an interesting vocal just with his dynamics, inflections, phrasing, etc.

Underneath definitely undid me the first several hundred times.
I cried during the EMAs when I realized that Adam was hitting it out of the park, and again during Kiev for the same reason.
