He would clean up on Dancing with the stars. I know, many of you don't want to see that. I don't want him to take that much time away from what he's doing, but I sure would love to see him do the choreography. Most of the men on the show have to learn to move like that--he does it naturally.   |

Seriously doubt it! Can't think of anyone I know who would say, "Oh well, not going to go see P!NK, Kelly, Katy, or Adam Lambert because I can watch the You Tubes!" LOL! If anything, as stated above, seeing the You Tubes makes people want to go see it live. Wasn't Biloxi sold out though? I think the YouTube videos increase concert demand and help promote Adam. I meet a number of people in Biloxi who had never seen Adam live but followed him online for 5 years waiting for him to play the Gulf Coast. *** Biloxi was close to sold out although many of the "VIP" seats were empty. But the casinos do these shows to drive traffic so the promotion is different. The Hard Rock Hotel packages were sold out. And there were a lot of casino VIPs there. Plus all the reserved tickets were sold out. Probably technically sold out but there were still GA tickets at showtime. This venue is often close to sold out -- they just seem to keep selling GA tickets. For example, Heart is playing there and they still have GA tickets on sale. Daugherty is playing on 1.10.14 and has a couple single seats available in the balcony but the GA tickets are still available. Listed the same way Adam was "mot many tickets left". The Hard Rock blocked off 2 rows of the center balcony for casino VIPs and many of those seats remained empty. If YouTube videos increase concert demand, then why are so many of the venues still trying to stop people from videoing? Are they just behind the times in understanding this concept or is there some contractual/legal reason why they police the videoing? Adam seems to really get that the videos help create demand for him. Could he not tell the venues before hand to allow it? |

Okay, new speculation - Adam is in NY looking for an apt as he will be working with Nile and other East Coast based artist on A3. He's also taking the opportunity to do a very short stint on Broadway and the SSB performance was his live audition. I came up with this as I was swimming laps today. Sensory deprivation.

About Monte. I was sorry about what happened. I don't like what Monte did. The cause of the falling out was the oldest story in the world in the music business. Bands and band mates come and go. Look at the Everly Brothers and their epic falling out. I think the "he who shall not be named" stuff is a bit childish. How did we get on the subject of Monte?  I look at him as person in Adam's past that Adam chooses to have absolutely nothing to do with his future. Moving on for me.

I just vented on YT that I don't like Adam measured against an ages old YT .... why is there no NEW example of how great he is???? Red House proves it again IMO. grmf. shutting myself up. Ooooo, them's fighting words there. I am certainly blown away by Red House, by Stay, by Underneath, by WWTLF. But, if I had to pick just one Adam song to listen to for the rest of my days, it would be CTMBTM. I could go on for paragraphs as to why, but it would be my opinion based on my preferences and what I find most appealing in a singing voice and genre. To each their own. The fact that this is "ages old" and he is now a much better, more mature, more experienced, more versatile singer does not detract from how perfect it is. IMO. YMMV. And all that other stuff. CTMBTM & WWTLF are at the top of my list too! But the Zodiac performances are near the bottom of my list (ducking tomatoes now). I love so many of the newer performances so much more than the Zodiac performances. ETA - And while I'm ducking tomatoes, I love Runnin' and Take Back as much as , and sometimes more than, the rest of the main Trespassing songs (although Shady is still my absolute favorite), but I like the main Trespassing songs much more than the other 3 bonus songs including BTR. To each his own! So glad Adam has a wide range of songs that different fans have as favorites! |

Most of the men on the show have to learn to move like that--he does it naturally. I would definitely like to see that! Did you notice that he moves his body, but keeps his head still? That's exactly how you should do that move. And dancing with the stars probably wouldn't be a good idea, because it takes massive amounts of time and as much as I would love love to see Adam do a proper salsa (or hmmm maybe a rumba? Or a fierce tango?) I love to see / hear him singing even more. And also, if you are on a show like that, a lot of people could assume that you probably have these massive amounts of time because you aren't really doing too good with whatever you got famous for. And I really don't see Adam in that world. Still... [stares dreamily towards ballroom dancing shoes that have been gathering lots of dust and imagines dancing with Adam] |
