Seriously doubt it! Can't think of anyone I know who would say, "Oh well, not going to go see P!NK, Kelly, Katy, or Adam Lambert because I can watch the You Tubes!" LOL! If anything, as stated above, seeing the You Tubes makes people want to go see it live. Wasn't Biloxi sold out though? I think the YouTube videos increase concert demand and help promote Adam. I meet a number of people in Biloxi who had never seen Adam live but followed him online for 5 years waiting for him to play the Gulf Coast. *** Biloxi was close to sold out although many of the "VIP" seats were empty. But the casinos do these shows to drive traffic so the promotion is different. The Hard Rock Hotel packages were sold out. And there were a lot of casino VIPs there. Plus all the reserved tickets were sold out. Probably technically sold out but there were still GA tickets at showtime. This venue is often close to sold out -- they just seem to keep selling GA tickets. For example, Heart is playing there and they still have GA tickets on sale. Daugherty is playing on 1.10.14 and has a couple single seats available in the balcony but the GA tickets are still available. Listed the same way Adam was "mot many tickets left". The Hard Rock blocked off 2 rows of the center balcony for casino VIPs and many of those seats remained empty. |

The Adam song that has made me cry? Broken Open. And Aftermath. Both of these songs have elicited uncontrollable sobbing. Cathartic. There was nothing on TSP that elicited those emotions for me. I think that is why I love FYE (tour edition) more....a song for every mood. But I do love TSP It has been forever since I listened to my "soothing playlist" on my ipod. Just played it this morning. When was the last time you listened to Sleepwalker? That song always does it for ME. |

Thank you Cassie also for your answer on YT ... thats what I asked for - for others to understand  ... Do we have a name for non-Glamberts ??? not very inclusive, but might be useful sometimes ... naaaw - don't wannaa coin such a phrase/name!! Evergreen, thanks for your concern, but I have the touchpad after all, a mouse is just easier ... but nope, very close to the laptop ... let's see how it works the next couple of days ....  |
