rama, at Adam's last two concerts in Biloxi and Winstar, he sang Is This Love. I thought it was odd, since it's the middle of winter and it's more of a summer song, which he sang because he said it was one of his parents' favorites. As you might know, the label still releasing Marley's timeless music is Island Records UK. In the U.S., it operates as a division of The Island Def Jam Music Group. And as someone else also mentioned, this is Avicii's label. AND he sang Lay Me Down for the first time at these 2 concerts. Parent company, UMG. I think you are on to something that might be very close to the happy news that Adam wants so much to share with us..Someday

I would not read anything into Adam performing "Is This Love". It is a song he has been performing in concert for a year.
And has performed at least 18 times -- including in Finland in March, 2013.

There is a lot of cornflake-connecting going on about Island Record and Adam but I caution a bit of skepticism about this fan-originated rumor. Island is home to AVICII (and LMD Promo) and is home to Rihanna who recorded "Stay" which Adam covered and IdolRecords retweeted.
Whatever Adam is doing next is locked down tight and I find it unfathomable that something held so tightly would be shared with the "intern" who is running IslandRecords Twitter account with instructions to occasionally tweet about an artist who was not signed to IslandRecords.
Also, the smoking gun IslandRecords tweet (a link to Adam's cover of Stay Tweeted August 25, 2013) was done over 2 months before Adam said he was talking to a couple of labels and big producers (November 2013). The tweet was months after Adam covered "Stay" in concert during the "We Are Glamily" tour in Tokyo February 20, 2013. But it did coincide with IslandRecords promotion of AVICII's album which included a track sung by Adam Lambert.

Adam may be signed by Island Records but there are other equally sensible places for Adam to pick. I think it is fun to speculate but I am trying to be somewhat patient about his label announcement. I am pretty sure we will be surprised by what is going to happen -- and I think Adam is working very hard to keep everything secret.
