After WAG, I made a guesstimate of 2-2.5 million pocketed by Adam. I did that using ticket sales and a formula in a Billboard article. Then I figured close to another million from Queen. So another 1.5 million from his other gigs seems about right. The 5 million might even be a tad low, but not much. Wonder if they got his video game promo in China? My guess is "No" That list should put to rest some insane theories Idol fans expound at other sites, like: 1. International $$ means nothing! 2. Single sales are the be all of everything! 3. Opening for someone else is awesome! ??? 4. Queen doesn't pay well!! 5. Adam Lambert's 15 minutes are over! $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$. I like your post Mys*&@^#r.

All this talk of money and Adam. Just a couple of nights ago John Stossel had a segment on his show discussing how there is public acceptance in our culture to have OUTRAGE towards CEOs who earn large amounts of money, yet the culture EMBRACES the huge salaries some athletes and entertainers receive without batting an eye. The subject of income inequality is in the news. I have never had any doubt that Adam is making a decent living. It is pretty obvious. I do not hold him in any higher esteem because there are more dollar signs associated with him. For christ's sake, 2 million, 5 million, 10 million! Exorbitant amounts of money does not guarantee personal success/happiness.

Tell you what we think about this? WE LOVE IT.
Whenever we see our celebrity faves doing something normal person-y (playing dress-up with a kid sister, goofing off on Photo Booth, hitting up Taco Bell), our hearts explode in a shower of adorable little flakes! Take this video of Adam Lambert and Kelly Osbourne lip-synching along to Destiny’s Child, for example. Actually, you can’t. We’re taking it. Forever. Bye!
Fine, we’ll share. Anyway, how fun is this clip, which the “Lay Me Down” singer Instagrammed late Monday night? Here are two famous people jamming out to the Y2K classic, “Independent Women Part I,” in the back seat of their car. Sure, they’re being driven around because #StillFamous, but c’mon!
But, is there more to the story?
Adam did caption, “@kellyosbourne and I giving u backseat Destiny’s Child Tea.” And, unless Adam and Kelly actually meant to write “We love Snapple Iced Tea!” and experienced the autocorrect to end all autocorrects, then there’s some truth being spilled. #oolong
Our guess? Kelly probably wants everyone to know that either she’s having a BALL with her independent womanhood following her breakup with Matthew Mosshart over the weekend and/ or that her graffiti date with Justin Bieber was not a date-date.
Either way… THROW YOUR HANDS UP AT MEH-EH-EH!

Not sure the intent of your post, but I think we are all just happy that Adam is doing well financially! 5 million is not a huge amount for a celebrity, but as Adam has said before, he is comfortable
