IIHY was played in a Korean TV commercial, wasn't it? That's got to pay handsomely. Or maybe it was after June 2013? Generally Performers do not earn anything from TV commercial licensing -- songwriters do. Adam has many sources of income, not the least of which is his publishing income. For example, he got a writing credit on LMD so he probably earned some money for ABC using LMD last night. ** There is no way anyone -- including Fortune -- could estimate what Adam makes and be close -- but is seems like a good guess to me. Adam has complex, diversified sources of income -- for example, he made more on Trespassing because he was the Executive Producer. And he adds in income generating activities when he is touring. It is easy to figure out someone like Phillip Phillips or Carrie because the income is almost all from US, Canada recorded music sales and touring. For Adam, it is hard to figure it out because so much of what he does is outside of the US and private (like Queen), and he does a lot of one-off events. And even when we get a number, like Pittsburgh Pride ($250,000) we do not know what the associated expenses were and how much Adam retained. ** On real estate: that tweet was not from Adam's agent, it was from a listing agent. Stupid tweet. ** On Aspen: I assume this is a paid appearance and it is certainly a chance to get a break before the PR storm. ** On Shosh coming to LA: I believe her tweet was end of the month.

I wonder if that's the reason for her LA visit... well, in addition to Adam's BD of course

As I suspected. I cannot remember seeing any public appearance photos where Adam is letting his freckles glow. Also, with his natural coloring, I am pretty sure the boy at least wears mascara. His eyelashes would be much lighter and would fade away in photos if he did not. Yes, mascara and eyebrow pencil. Just no eyeliner or shadow. >> I also can't remember a recent event photo when he did not do his eyebrows -- but I have not actually made a deep study of the matter. I was just looking at the nose ring. I am actually not sure what color his eyelashes, eyebrows and beard really are. And how can he keep his hair and beard dark when it is so short? That is dedication! [laughs] Dye!! I remember Adam was once photographed outside an eyelash dyeing salon. You don't have to bother with mascara as long as your lashes are tinted and since eyelashes don't grow that quickly it doesn't need to be done often. Beard dye is amazingly fast and easy. (Why do they make it so hard for women?) My husband does his beard every once in a while when he gets annoyed at this white patch that shows up on one side. Takes about 5 minutes.

After WAG, I made a guesstimate of 2-2.5 million pocketed by Adam. I did that using ticket sales and a formula in a Billboard article. Then I figured close to another million from Queen. So another 1.5 million from his other gigs seems about right. The 5 million might even be a tad low, but not much. Wonder if they got his video game promo in China? My guess is "No" That list should put to rest some insane theories Idol fans expound at other sites, like: 1. International $$ means nothing! 2. Single sales are the be all of everything! 3. Opening for someone else is awesome! ??? 4. Queen doesn't pay well!! 5. Adam Lambert's 15 minutes are over! $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$. [grins] Just because I really want to see this post again - love it so much !!!!!!

I also have to secretly admit that selflshly the second part of that soapbox made me as excited as the first part - a completely unheard - NEW Queen track with all four members??!?!?! I am fangirling over here....and I'm a guy. Hell, that news about a new-found track is TOTALLY worth fangirling about (no matter what gender you are!!) So relieved that the worst health news about Brian seems to be over. Hope his docs can solve the underlying issue causing him problems now all the truly scary stuff has been ruled out. [crosses fingers and sends good wishes]
