What the heck....??
Nobody is saying that anything has to do with Leila. She did RE before, now she went back into it. There was no comment about her, so let's leave that out of here, at least I will.
The market she is now in, especially the high end multi-million dollar part of it, is highly competitive and very much saturated. This is well known. If you really need more insight, just watch one or two episodes of the multitude of reality TV shows that have sprung up around LA, making a killing at showing on one hand high end properties, which people with a dream and nothing to do with their lives clearly want to see, and secondly exposing the in-fighting between the agents, making for drama.
Whether it is 3 % or 6 %, when your list price is multi-million, that commission is a fine chunk of change, and it makes certain people behave badly when it comes to fighting other agents for every deal that happens to come along.
Enter Dale. It has been said over the last few days that he posted a 'stupid' tweet. But if he really is a RE agent in this market, then he knows the rules of the game and how to handle celebrities and exposing them is a no-no. Obviously, Adam was not his client, so why does he do something to hurt the celebrity's interests or the buying agent that represents him?
a) maybe he has a personal vendetta against Adam? Possible, but not likely
b) maybe he is really a fan and just could not contain his excitement? Possible, but not likely
c) maybe he is mad that he and his buddies did not get the buyers deal? Possible.......and much more likely
d) a new buyer's agent is in town and needs to be given a special welcome treatment? Possible...and more likely. Especially, if this buyers agent has industry contacts that allow her to break into the market, which as mentioned, has many fish already swimming in it.
I have no idea why mys*&@^#r is reacting the way she is, and mzsue is of course right with what she says.
It never made any sense that this guy would have tweeted something like that 'stupidly'. But c) and d) together make for a perfect explanation. Adam was in this whole thing just the pawn that got sacrificed.
I was just explaining, what I think is going on, and pointing out that this was a mean tweet, not a stupid tweet.
If you want to believe that Dale sent that because he loves us Glamberts and wants us all to know where Adam is at all times, suit yourself. And yes, I do know a thing or two how the real estate market works, even though I have never operated in a hotbed of intrigue like the market surrounding Hollywood's finest and richest.
