Ulli D.@here4adam
A huge thank you to @suz526 for being one of the first to bring us wonderful Adam Lambert vids 5 yrs ago:))))
This is so true! I couldn't imagine someone was going to so many concerts and recording them - for the fans. Although I'm sure she enjoyed them all, I know it wasn't all roses... didn't she lose her passport at one point? And since Suz, many others have sacrificed the ability to "JUMP!" so fans at home could enjoy Adam's perforances. To all who have done so these past five years THANK YOU! We have come to expect YouTubes a half hour after a concert ends, and I hope we will continue to be so lucky. But please know that more that expected, it is appreciated.

Wow! Five years! Really? Has it been five whole years? Time truly does fly when you're having fun! Adam entered my life at "Mama" and he will never leave. He has evolved......going from adorable 26 year old with amazing talent to a mature, kind, stunningly handsome man who somehow sings even better than when we first saw him! So very thankful I decided to turn on Idol that night! And I'm grateful that we have all the videos throughout his journey to go back and enjoy over and over....... It took five years for Adam and his fans to reach this new peak of success......and it is only going to get betterer!! I can feel it!!

My fervent wish for QAL is that the tour dates are announced all at one time. (see how I assumed here that there will be multiple dates?) Remember GNT? We were jumping around the US like skitsos. I would love the ability to plan and make more than one date. Plus I am only going if I can get great tickets. My seat NYE was so bad, that I saw most of the concert on youtubes! Oh who am I kidding? I'll go regardless! And why don't people make Macros anymore?

Oh my god, yes, Ring Of Fire was it for me, too! Mostly because of his voice, the melody, the arrangement, but I also happen to think his voice is incredibly sexy, so it had to be about the sexy and the sensual as well. Of course, it was a lucky and fortunate coincidence that he had the looks to match:)
Since it is his AI anniversary and all, I want to say that I belong in the group of fans who has enjoyed him more as the time progressed. His AI performances seem so distant to me now, like a kids' game, like a fairy tale, all glittery and shiny and polished, a bit unreal. I'm incredibly thankful for it, but it was just the sparkle which ignited the flame. The realness of his career, his own music, his choices and messages are where my interest lies now. Really important things, like what his next album direction is going to be, or how to sing for an hour and a half without losing his vocal stamina, or what concept his album is going to have, or the change, the reinvention of him in the new era... Especially now, when I have absolutely no idea of what is going through his head. All I just said seems redundant and stupid, but whatever.
I know nothing about Peter Pan the musical, but I can totally imagine him as Captain Hook, all sexy and intimidating:) And he could grow his hair and leave the Melvin on, or grow some serious moustache, and blow everyone away with his voice. I'd love to see that.

I am one of those many who was hooked at the audition. When he lost, I felt like I was socked hard in the gut for days. I couldn't sleep for a week. That is when I hit the web looking for kindred spirits. I started out lurking at MJs and have been following him in cyberspace ever since. Adam has really enriched my life. For one thing I have learned so much about the music business and current music trends my kids think I'm hip. I had not touched my piano for many years, but because Adam rekindled my interest in music, I broke out my sheet music again. I became more interested in fashion. I am a more vocal advocate for equality, and so on. Yesterday's thread had talk about favorite hair, and none of those example are my favorite. My favorite look was on the banner this morning, Sir Lancelot from China. jean1010 - I also love that hair look ... soft, free

I just found myself on the cake! I'm the curly headed slalomer! Thanks so much Chapf! You are welcome! There are 44 atopers now. I am glad to see you still alive and kicking, Chapf:) Can I just say that I am the prettiest smiley on your cake, if I do say so myself. Now, I don't know why, but I am very thankful:))) Oh, and I would like to second that wish from a few days ago for you to tell us who's who on the cake, it's so much fun:) I was thinking about how we could repay you and thank you, but I couldn't think of anything, so we could just grant you any wishes you may have. You name it, you'll have it:)
