Isn't it just crazy how the "obsession" has gotten worse instead of better? I really thought it would have subsided by now. But he is my drug! The more I get, the more I want!! |

What an emotional day today. Wow, 5 years! In some ways it just seems like yesterday, in some ways it feels like he's always been part of my life. We watched several seasons of AI, seasons 3 through 8, as we didn't discover it until the end of season 2 when you were constantly hearing and reading about Ruben vs. Clay. And then came Adam on season 8 and we haven't watched it since. I too knew as soon as his audition aired, that was it. And I loved the moment posted on the last page after his performance of "Black or White" when he got so much praise and he put his hand to his face. There was just no comparison between Adam and the rest of the pack as far as his talent, professionalism, charisma, the way he approached the competition and the variety in which he presented himself etc.
I've only seen him live 3 times, and not in the last several years, so I'm so grateful for this online community and all the fans who so readily share everything to keep me connected and allow me to be part of this wonderful Adam world
Chapf, your cake is an absolute work of art! Don't know who everyone is but if you're taking any further requests and if there's anymore room, would love to be there. If not, I'm enjoying the heck out of your creativity and hope Adam sees it! |

I fell for Adam after GNT had wrapped. Spent a glorious year or so pouring over youtube videos of all I had missed. Here is my favorite Idol moment: that sound he makes when told he made it to the finale. *inserts a bunch of hugging and kissing smileys, since I can't find them If we're talking about non-performance favourites, I would have to say the words and looks and appreciation Jamie Foxx extended him, because they mirrored mine:) And it was the Jamie Foxx:))) |

My fervent wish for QAL is that the tour dates are announced all at one time. (see how I assumed here that there will be multiple dates?) Remember GNT? We were jumping around the US like skitsos. I would love the ability to plan and make more than one date. Plus I am only going if I can get great tickets. My seat NYE was so bad, that I saw most of the concert on youtubes! Oh who am I kidding? I'll go regardless! And why don't people make Macros anymore?   Glad you came to your senses because no one believed for a second that you would pass on Queenbert in the US just because you had a lousy seat! |
