Still trying to figure it out - we all have eyes - some have very beautiful eyes. But no one has the compelling eyes of Adam Lambert. What is it about his eyes?  I'm not sure it really it is his eyes themselves that are compelling. I think that it is what we see in his eyes - intelligence, humor, awareness, kindness, he is 100% present. |

Yeah, what happened to our glam sporks?! And silver sporks for Adam would be a great theme for a twitter photo campaign sometime...

Quite a special day/night with so many celebrating what Adam has brought to their lives. Not even my personal milestones/anniversaries have made me so teary-eyed... (I can only share that here.  ) There is such an Adam love fest going on on Twitter tonight. I am not following Adam's feed, but the Atop tweets and retweets at the bottom of this page tell quite a story. It is amazing. The comments, pictures and videos are great. Thanks, Q3, for putting it together all in one place, and to all the folks bringing in news, tweets, etc. for those of us who don't have the time to find it all on our own. It means so much!  |

5 years.
That's about how old I feel. Remember that little essay about 'All I Ever Needed to Know I Learned in Kindergarten'? My essay would begin with 'All I Ever Needed to Know I Learned From Adam Lambert' - starting just about 5 years ago. I found a voice that unlocked my own.
Music again; joyful, sexy songs replaced 'talk radio'.
Honesty and living authentically replaced trying to please everyone else.
Glitter and shades of black; boots and leather replaced 'Alfred Dunner' and 'Charter Club' designs.
I boarded planes, rented cars, navigated cities alone; and found friends from here to New Zealand and Moscow.
Demanded stamina of myself; and danced with such abandon I couldn't feel my feet.
Started paying attention to prejudice and 'tolerance'.
Found a voice to speak out against the above.
Through Adam's inspiration, I discovered causes to believe in and support.
I've learned it's not time to put the toys away; it's never necessary to feel that wisdom is only revealed when our lives are tidy.
There's always time to sing; to listen; to see with eyes looking inside as well as outside.
While my life is a surprise to me, there is always someone out there who can find me with the words "I understand".
I love the freedom of not knowing where this journey will end; or even if it will end. It has colored me neon green! And red, and blue and magenta - and I'm not staying inside the lines at all, as I turn another page of the story. It's Adam's story; but it's our adventure, too!
