my turning point - of no return I might add: Same here. My jaw was dropping for the entire performance. A lot of people commented on the sensuality of it, but I didn't even notice that. I was just listening to the singing. Hahaha. You and me both, Holst. I didn't even notice the shirt lift. I was just so enthralled by the voice and the interpretation. |

I had gotten in the habit over the years of just watching the Idol finales so I would know who the winner was each year. Then I would forget about it till the next year's finale.
And then came Adam on his finale. WOW!!!!! I was hooked on this gorgeous guy!
And I haven't stopped WOWing since. And I'm still hooked.

I am one of those many who was hooked at the audition. When he lost, I felt like I was socked hard in the gut for days. I couldn't sleep for a week. That is when I hit the web looking for kindred spirits. I started out lurking at MJs and have been following him in cyberspace ever since.
Adam has really enriched my life. For one thing I have learned so much about the music business and current music trends my kids think I'm hip. I had not touched my piano for many years, but because Adam rekindled my interest in music, I broke out my sheet music again. I became more interested in fashion. I am a more vocal advocate for equality, and so on.
Yesterday's thread had talk about favorite hair, and none of those example are my favorite. My favorite look was on the banner this morning, Sir Lancelot from China.

As a singer, I remember thinking "oh my God, his breath control is just amazing--how does he do that" -- I didn't think about sexuality at all until I watched the video again! I was just envious of his technique! |
