But, if something is happening this afternoon at this exclusive interview with special guests, then I have more questions than answers at this point.
First and foremost, did Nile ever make it out to LA? He was stuck in the general snow mess in NYC yesterday and could not get out.
Why do we think that Adam would be at this event? If they are planning a surprise live performance of LMD, then that would make sense for Adam. But how does it make sense for Nile and Chic? I thought they are going to present their new single there. Would the LMD performance not take away thunder from their new single? Probably. So, I don't think this is it either.
Does that new single maybe involve Adam and is that why he might be there? If yes, why would you keep that a secret? You would want to shout that from the rooftops, not make that a reclusive interview event. So, that does not make sense either.
And none of this explains, why he is practicing a cover song with his band? Where would that come into play?
So mys*&@^#r, can you explain a bit more to us earthlings what you are able to see in your magic eightball. Thanks and looking forward to however all these pieces will come together eventually.
Right now, I feel like a kid that is used to 20 piece puzzles and is all of a sudden put in front of a 500 piece one. Utterly lost and frustrated with all the bits and pieces that don't seem to add up to anything useful at this point.
Got to find those corner pieces......
So, to paraphrase Eber for a moment: 40 more clues and instagrams, Adam, and we may actually GET the whole picture.

KAMAR! The song, to me, is about a couple whose good times are very, very good. But their bad times are very, very bad. And those on the outside watching, wonder why they are even trying to make it.

I am with you, craazy....I don't see any connection there...but I am hoping for some event somewhere soonish (i.e. before Feb. 8, cause they wouldn't be rehearsing 2 weeks in advance IMO).... |

Especially after Nile's tweet about Adam coming through for him. We all assumed the WAF Gala. But I'll bet it's this! I think this is a pretty good bet. You have to figure if it was a rehearsal for something higher profile Jessie Ware probably would have been aware of the cover.
eta--confusion! So, does it now look like this isn't the event?

Quick (and maybe a tiny bit off-topic)radio question. Are LA people noticing any format/sound changes with the KISS station? I am just curious because here in Chicago the KISS station is now advertising, "All the hits, in every genre." It is a major promo change; and, this is a station that swung more to the urban side just a few years ago. At this point, it is basically a mirror of The Mix (#1 HAC). Anyway, I think this type of shift will only help Adam for the next record.
