I hope Adam writes (or has written whatever the case may be) music with Bonnie McKee for his new album! ETA: Also Pharrell and Max Martin (who worked extensively on Katy Perry's recent album) - want a couple radio hits there! Also hope he gets to work with anyone and everyone that HE wants to work with! A radio hit would be nice but if Pharrell were going to give him a radio hit, it would already have happened. Plus and this is my own very personal opinion, I have nothing but contempt for anybody who worked on that travesty, 'Blurred Lines', and it's misogynistic video and this includes Pharrell.

I think Madonna is singing WITH Mary Lambert not instead of. I don't think she is needed at all on Same Love but collaborations like this happen all the time at the Grammy awards.

I know, right? How classy. Anything goes for ratings, I guess.
And what a shame that Mary Lambert, apparently, isn't good enough. First they add Jennifer Hudson, and now it looks like they are replacing her with Madonna. I think that kinda sucks.
ok folks, can you pls explain the back story here? I am (naively I suppose) thinking that showing same sex marriage "event" on a world-wide watched show is a great step for the cause and yet I see all kinds of "unhappiness" expressed here...obviously I am missing something and I'd like to be enlightened.... I am going to google Mary Lambert, but the rest I really need help with On a personal level, I can't even imagine getting married 'in a group', 'on stage' or some such thing. I'd never do it. For me, marriage ceremony is a very serious event, personal, important... I would never use it to promote any cause. These spectacles kind of devalue it. Secondly, if the Grammy people wanted to promote marriage equality, there are so many less tacky, a little less on the Jerry Springer side, ways of doing it, of sending a strong message. Ways which would be more professional, honest and more effective for the cause. They don't need to make a spectacle out of it, it's not a circus, a fair... Unfortunately, that's exactly what they want, to make a show, to keep good ratings, to earn money. It's understandable, but to use this delicate issue for that is offensive to me. All this imo, of course. I wish someone explained it better. On the plus side, however wrong the means and the motives are, I believe it's good for the cause. I just don't like it.
